Hunter is one of THE BEST restaurants on Long Island. The service is impeccable. The food is prepared so beautifully. Nothing is too greasy, too salty, too gloppy. Everything prepared is a 10! Price to portion is also perfect. The bar also makes a great drink. The host is a lovely man. It's perfect every time!

Great first experience at this restaurant . Food and service was on point. Food is delicious and drinks were good. Our only issue was it was a bit noisy- lots of hard surfaces. We will definitely be back!

Table Selection We were a party of four and chose to forgo a large table, opting instead for one appropriately sized for our group. This decision proved to be fortunate, as the overall noise level in the restaurant was quite high; there were no features to help absorb the constant chatter from other diners. Service Although our table selection suited us well, we encountered challenges with service. Our waiter was exceptionally slow, lacked personality and took a considerable amount of time to collect our order and even longer to bring the check. The experience lingered in a space between not feeling rushed but also bordering on neglect. Food Quality The food, however, more than compensated for the shortcomings in service. Each dish was beautifully presented and exceptionally delicious. I would definitely return for the food alone.
