Recently visited and I have to say, the food was amazing, the staff was on point and drinks were tasty. The family had an amazing time sitting in the patio listening to good music and enjoying the company of the owner and daughter. Its such a cute place to visit and the food is well worth it. Definitely going back and can't wait, already telling my friends and coworkers about this place.

I can’t say enough good things about El Matador! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. One detail that really stood out for me as a parent was the atmosphere. My daughter is on the spectrum, and sometimes loud music can be overwhelming for her, but the volume here was perfect. It created a lively yet comfortable environment where we could all enjoy our meal together without stress.
El Matador is not just about great food, but also about creating a thoughtful dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My husband and I were in the area for a wedding. I looked up a place to have a good lunch and came across El Matador. I made the decision to go there as soon as I saw the picture of the paella. It was delicious it had decent amount of seafood. I would prefer the rice a little under as when it was mixed with the sauce it was a bit overcooked. My husband liked his dish. It was lunch time so we were the only table. Food came out quick and service was great. Would defff recommend.

EXCELLENT 10/10!! My boyfriend and I came here for dinner tonight and it was absolutely delicious!!!! Our waitress was so kind and friendly and really made the experience that much better! I recently visited El Matador and overall, it was a really good experience. The food was tasty, the service was excellent, and my Amaretto Sour was perfectly on point. The only small complaint I had was with the chicharrón appetizer it was a bit too tiny, and I would have preferred bigger chunks of meat. Other than that, everything else was great.
The outdoor patio is especially nice very private and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. A big shoutout to our server, Ingrid, who was fantastic. She was very attentive, explained the entire menu to us, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you stop by El Matador, I highly recommend asking for Ingrid,she’ll definitely make your dining experience even better.

Oh, my goodness! What a gem of a place! We were visiting from out of town and were just looking for a good place not far from our hotel. We drove past, but were able to turn around to see this little restaurant! We were so warmly greeted by Emily and she suggested we dine on the patio. It was so surprising and so lovely! There was an amazing Spanish guitarist named Arrizza and he played so beautifully during our meal. Ingrid was our server and she was so sweet and attentive! The food and drinks were so tasty and so filling. We had the Mero and the Besito, so delicious! And the spicy Margaritas were perfect! The sun was setting and it was just the best way to spend an evening! We will definitely go back when we visit again! We felt so welcomed and cared for! Thank you to everyone who made our last night in LI so wonderful!
