Really like this bakery. My first order was a customized M & M cake, and communication as to the day got mixed up. They raced to get the cake made for my office party regardless and delivered it on time. The cake was delicious as well. Ive ordered there several times after, and have never been disappointed.

Went in to buy some cupcakes for Thanksgiving and was very impressed by not just the cute and professional designs but the taste was excellent too. The frosting was fresh and not too sweet and cakes were moist after storing in the fridge overnight. All the flavors were great, I will certainly be back.

I made my engagement cake they wrote (CONGRATULATION) but I let it go, the bridal shower and weddings were also good. It is much more expensive than other places I quoted and charged me much more money telling me that my location was "out of their area", my wedding was on Long Island. Anyway, I understand that people heard that it's for a wedding and they want more money from the client. She was always uninformative when I asked her something regarding the cake. I'm planning my baby shower and I also went to this bakery because it's the one I already knew, hoping that after I became a customer the treatment would be better ❤️ . I was disappointed once again. Although it is true that we liked their products, I cannot continue begging them to give me information, respond to me or treat me as if they were doing me a great favor. My recommendation is that they get someone to manage their social networks and customer service because what they do with their hand they erase with their elbow.

I ordered a cake here for the first time for my mom’s birthday. It was so pretty and amazingly delicious. Yellow cake with whipped cream and the lemon custard filling so so good. My whole family loved it including my mother. Highly recommend Sugar Dreams Bakery.
The cheesecake and cheese danish with almonds are 2 of my favorites!

Lies,,,, stale danish,,,,, except no responsibility,,,,just lies,,,,,,won't listen,,,,very defensive,,,I was looking forward to a so called fresh Danish this morning with my coffee,,I bought it less than 16 ago, wich I do often and they were good,,this morning, not so much,,,I was told to put it in the microwave by the owner/baker, it would soften it up,,,,I never had to do that before,,, now if I have to pay that much money for a Costco Danish I'll go there and get a whole box,,,she was rude, she lied and dismissive of my concern,, I won't go back ,,,I would assume most businesses would have apologized and offer to make it right instead of blaming the customer,,,,they can't be trusted

This bakery is the absolute BEST!!!! The owner goes above and beyond for her customers. You will have some customers that will always leave negative reviews even though nothing was done wrong on the owners part. You actually have to take the negative reviews and let them go and actually see where they are coming from. It is usually a person that constantly leaves negative reviews for many places as to they are just a a complainer and maybe looking for items for free. This community all knows how excellent this bakery is and how hard the owner works!

****UPDATE****The bakery just called me and threatened me that they are going to check their cameras and show me that they put the filling in. I told her that I do not want to deal with the bakery anymore since she yelled at me and called me a liar. She told me I have your name and number in a very threatening way and then she then hung up on me again. I tried calling back to explain to her to not bother since it wouldn’t resolve anything and that I just was not going back. She answered my call and hung up twice.Please stay away from this place.Apologies in advance for how long this negative review is.I went to the bakery a couple of weeks ago to order a cake. I had first tried their tres leches cake at a birthday party and thought it was delicious and decided to get one for my mom's birthday. The lady at the counter was really friendly and explained to me that a small cake cost around $60 and it's for 7 people. I thought the price was a bit high but decided to get it anyways because it was worth it. I told her what I wanted her to write on the cake and had even double checked the spelling. I had also requested instead of a the custard and caramel filling we wanted strawberry and pineapple.Cut to the day of pick up. I had planned a surprise party for my mom so I had everyone getting things and we were setting up decorations. My husband went to pick up the cake around 12. The party was running a bit behind so we didn't end up cutting her cake until 6. I made the mistake of the checking it before cutting. They had spelt her name wrong after we had double checked to make sure she had written it correctly on the paper for the order. But I thought it's okay. Mistakes happen. Then we cut the cake and realize there is no pineapple and strawberries. She had made the cake with custard and caramel.I call the bakery the next day (it was closed by 6) and I tell them what happened. The response I get "I asked your husband if everything looked good and he said yes. Once a cake leaves the bakery I am no longer responsible for it"I told her that she had it written down. My mom had a Spanish name and my husband is American and does not know how to spell it exactly but I told her fine. I guess it was my mistake for not picking it up myself. Then I tell her about the fillings that I had previously made extra for. She said I am wrong and that she did put the correct fillings in. I told her I still had cake left over if she'd like to see it and she started screaming at me saying that I'm going to bring a cake that I had taken out the filling from and that she did not want to see it.Then she hung up on me.I have never dealt with such an unprofessional business before and I never leave reviews but I'm hoping whoever reads this makes sure they themselves pick up the cake and to maybe check the filling there at the bakery somehow.Me my friends and family will not be returning to this bakery unfortunately.
