They apparently over booked and we had to wait to be seated when we had a reservation. Then our food was cold when it arrived . I had the worst chicken French it was not prepared properly and it was cold when it arrived they took it back and heated it up but it tasted terrible.

Excellent meal last night. We dine here 4-5 times yearly, we enjoy Italian/American and it's always superb. Our meal on Friday during Lent was another winner. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were very big as always. Our server Samantha was spot on, not only with serving but her suggestion to me was great. My wife had Codfish Picatta and I had the Seafood Chippino. So good, my wife took home 1 whole piece of the two served of Cod and I had plenty of leftovers from a bowl loaded with delicious seafood. Many things make this place a must go; great food, nice atmosphere, big bar, white linen tablecloths and napkins etc. Prices are very reasonable as are drinks. Little thinks like our server taking our leftovers to wrap instead of bringing us containers to do it ourselves and the owner (Donna) being on hand to insure our satisfaction means a lot to us as frequent diners of many establishments and kind of sends Perlo's to the top echelon. I guarantee with their extensive menu, you will not be disappointed.

There is a high probability that you’ll see SOMEONE you know as soon as you enter the building. One of the owners will most likely greet you at the door and invite you to the bar or host stand to be seated in one of many dining areas. Donna and Brian (owners) are so kind and personable which helps to create a comfortable, homey atmosphere. I dined in with my family after 5 years of being out of state, and the experience absolutely stellar. Our server, Anthony, was charismatic and hilarious; he was making us laugh throughout the entire meal while also maintaining a professional manner. The timing of appetizer, entrée, and dessert was wonderful, and the food was perfect. We ordered the veal parm, lobster French, and orecchiette. I would have finished my dish if I didn’t load up on the delicious bread and garlic oil! One manager politely asked how we were doing during our meal, and we had a chance to chat with both Donna and Brian before leaving. The community here makes me miss Rochester so much!

The most authentic Italian I've had in the area. Donna is so iconic and such a team player with her Staff! It's refreshing to see an owner assisting in service and the food was delicious of course ?I highly recommend the chocolate
Drinks, bread and appetizers, the Utica bean and the sautéed calamari were outstanding and HOT. On my husband's fish fry, the fish was outstanding but his French fries were stone cold. The chicken Asiago I ordered was dried out pieces of chicken and cold Asiago sauce. We informed Michael, our wonderful server and replacements were given to us. Such a shame food can't always cooked perfectly and HOT!
