Steves bar and Grill Spanish food

I’ve only been in here twice to order empanadas, but both times the lady at the back counter was extremely nice and welcoming. Her empanadas are AMAZING! Better then the empanada shop down the street (sorry, but true), I like them better then the ones at the Rochester public market, and better then another empanada company that goes to the Fairport market. They are so good!! Amazingly crispy with the perfect meat texture inside. You know when something’s that good when you crave it and can’t stop thinking about it. I do realize this is essentially a bar, and I wish it didn’t smell like booze and cigarette smoke every time I walked in so I could bring others to eat here. Unfortunately with that smell I won’t be able too, but I’ll still come in for takeout. My only suggestion would be to please get ahead of spraying this year as you had ants on the pickup counter and menu where I got my food. I was really grossed out but didn’t have the heart to say anything. I’ll still be back to order some more soon :)

What a comfy little place to go get something warm and yummy to eat. Friendly staff and service in a mellow and relaxed environment. I always go and get my lunch there, and it's usually their pulled pork, with rice and peas and potatoes, and fried plantain. DELICIOUS and very consistent, EVERYTIME❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏🤥❤️❤️❤️❤️🍽🍽🍽🍽🍽

Fantastic food. I got the chicken stew which turned out to be two chicken legs cooked in a rich broth with potatoes and peppers maybe? Served with rice and a cup of stewed pinto beans that were incredible flavorful. Husband had beef burritos with red sauce, also with beans and rice.

The spot isn’t fancy, I wouldn’t want it to be. Just good, solid food and really nice people.

The music was a little loud but I ordered takeout so I didn't stay long but the food is really authentic Mexican food . It was delicious, the only real complaint was the portion were smaller then what it looked like in the picture.
