Nice place! I got the Alfredo and the sauce was really flavorful and the pasta was cooked well. I notice a lot of restaurants overcook their pasta, but they did a good job!

Grew up in Penfield but only make it back once a year. We visited last year and loved all the food. Tonight must have been an off night. Most of the food lacked seasoning. Even my 89 year old mom who NEVER uses salt added salt to hers. The crab appetizer was good. The chicken vegetable soup needed seasoning. The gnocchi flight was disappointing, it was heavy and pasty and lacked flavor. The Parmesan haddock special was pretty good. The fish was tender and flaky. The draft Blue light was off so I switched to bottle. The wait staff was very nice, and was trying hard.

The place was good Italian good. The service was like your neighbor welcoming you in especially Isabella. Before even saying hello she asked two questions and it was like she knew everything about me. There was a nice elderly couple that could be your cool grandparents at the bar. Food was excellent especially the mussels and the shrimp primavera.

This is now called Lucca's. Food was great. We both had eggplant parm and instead of penne we both got gnocchi. Mine was with pesto, the other was Alfredo. Both very good. Alfredo was not salty like most places. We splurged and got raspberry cheesecake and peanut butter pie. We ate just the cheesecake and it was very good. The raspberry sauce was very tasty. I recommend this place

Had not been to the Northside Inn in many years. They were able to accommodate our large party , on short notice. Our Server was amazing. The food was great. We will definitely be back , it was as good as I remembered.

We went last Fall when it first open. It was not good. We thought to try it again and glad we did. This is now called Lucia's. I recommend this place. If you had a bad experience, please try it again. It is worth another try.

First of all let me say, I am so glad I didn't listen to reviewer August. Lucca's Northside Kitchen is FANTASTIC. We got reservations last minute on a Friday evening and had a wonderful waitress and the BEST FISH FRIES any of us have ever had. WE started with clams casino for appetizer which was soooo gooood and finished with dessert - another best - the cannoli and fried cheesecake with raspberry sauce were delicious. Looking forward to going back soon!

The main dining area is nicesr. Where we sat felt like a hallway. But the great food makes up for that.

After being a patron for over 30 years, I was extremely disappointed in the food I received with my take out order. How do you ruin ziti? My baked potatoe was actually mashed. So sad I'm never going back

One of the few restaurants to offer lunch. Great new management (from the old Northside). All redone inside. Very nice. We had great service and all 4 meals were delicious. Put it in your list. ??

Dined with a party of four. Greeted and seated by Owners. Young waitress seemed new to the position but was very nice. All of the appetizers, meals, wine and desert were excellent. Some minor glitches that were addressed by the owner himself to our satisfaction. My family and I have been dining at the Northside for 40 years plus and it was a pleasure to see the updates to the property. I do have to confess that they are also a customer of mine. I saw a comment that they have Formica table tops. Not true. They replace all the old table tops with real OAK Wood Tops they purchased from me for $ 13,000.00. Being a food service professional for 45 years I would highly recommend this establishment.

Waitress tried her best. Food was awful. We set in the booth section. People actually got up and left there Food on table. No flavor or taste to any dish. I'm not sure it was JUST a bad night....but I probably won't go back. Very poor Wine selection .

Food was excellent as well the service. Beware they charge a service charge if you use a credit card. It probably was on the menu but we did not see it.

This restaurant is now called LUCCA'S NORTHSIDE KITCHEN. It is a pleasant family restaurant catering to families and casual diners. The service was amazing. Our table of four had dinner and dessert in one hour and fifteen minutes. Yet, we did not feel rushed. The menu is extensive and mostly Italian. I had the Chicken French that was very good, however, the portion was too large for me and I brought home left overs. I also had a cheese cake with raspberry sauce and it was very good.

The service was wonderful, But I would like to suggest getting a new cook, or perhaps training him would be great. Thank you
