We drive by here often so today we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately we are very very disappointed. When I called to place my order, the employee on the other line sounded like they were super far away. It was already hard to understand due to the accent, but it didn't help that I couldn't even hear them. I ordered a large deep dish pizza, a grilled chicken caesar salad and 10 wings. They told me I couldn't have wings because they just sold all of them, that was fine, until the employee said they actually had 5 left so they asked if I wanted them and I said yes (again we were trying this place for the first time!) I was told because they only had a few left I wouldn't have to pay for the wings....I was totally okay with paying for them since they are what I wanted but hey I won't pass up free food! I go to pick up my food and gosh I was disappointed. It was so dirty! The food on the counters looked like they had been sitting there for weeks. Pasta salad, egg salad, potato salad, veggies... it all was crusty and looked hard. It honestly looked like it had been there for weeks! And it was so dirty, like the area around had never been wiped and cleaned..ever!! I had paid anyways and the employee who cashed me out said the pizza was a little darker and asked if that was okay, I said yes it was fine. I cash out, get my things and go to my car. When I got to my car I checked the pizza, it wasn't even deep dish! It was just a regular pizza with super thin crust! It was a little darker but that wasn't an issue for me. I checked the salad, it was not at all a grilled chicken caesar salad! It was just some lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and grilled chicken and there wasn't even any dressing! I ended up using the blue cheese that came with the pizza and wings. The wings were disgusting! They weren't even cut correctly, they were still full together. They look undercooked and looked so unappetizing. Not to mention I checked the bill after and they did charge me for 6 wings!!! With all of this being said, this place is just gross and so unclean, I will not be going back. After seeing the food when I picked up my order I shouldn't have even got the food but I wanted to give them a shot and all I can say is I am so so disappointed. I think they should get a health inspector in there because it didn't seem healthy, safe or clean.

Really good food. The people who work there are always welcoming. I love that you can eat in or take out

Not a great experience and I wish we had known they had new ownership before we tried it based on good reviews from the past few years. The entire place was empty when we came in on a Saturday afternoon and that should've been our first sign that something was off. The deli area was not stocked or neat like old reviews had shown. We ordered and the guys were friendly and kind. It didn't seem like they were well-versed on the menu offerings but they did have a hiring sign up so maybe they were new. We had planned on eating in until we went into the dining room to sit. The tables were filthy and dusty. Nothing had been wiped down and there were random old bottles, napkins on some tables. We ended up changing our orders to go. The sandwiches themselves were very underwhelming. I got a pastrami Rueben on dark rye. They made it on wheat bread and didn't say anything about the swap. That alone changed the whole profile of the sandwhich and it didn't help that the pastrami lacked flavor. My husband had a Philly cheese steak combo sandwhich what also had minimum flavor. For the price and "deli" experience we were expecting at least decent sandwiches. I could've grabbed deli meat from the store and had a better lunch. We definitely won't be back and I hope other people see my review and know that the place has drastically changed compared to other past reviews when they had different owners.

This was one of the weirdest restaurant experiences that we ever had. My wife ordered a Bagel and Nova and the waiter brought her a cheeseburger on wheat toast. Not sure how Nova sounds like cheeseburger. The rest of the food was ok but it's definitely not a New York Deli.

Treated myself to a Rubin Sandwich today at TOUCH OF BROADWAY DELI in East Syracuse...used to be Doug's Fish Fry. I admit I was a bit skeptical, it being new to me and pricey, HOWEVER, I cannot remember the last time I had such a Succulent, Delicious, Tender, freshly made, served hot Rubin. Nice! Will definitely re-visit TOUCH OF BROADWAY DELI.

Honestly one of the worst experiences at a pizza place I’ve ever had. I should of just walked out but I was so hungry. Paid $15 for 3 slices and garlic knots. The cashier didn’t know what garlic knots were and tried to only give me one garlic know that was totally dry with no marinara sauce on the side. While I was waiting I noticed a bunch of people not wearing gloves or hats walking around food prep areas and they asked a customer “how they wanted their pizza cut” like they had never cut a pizza before?! When I finally got my slices they were so undercooked and doughy I only ate 1 and the garlic knots were so hard my partner and I would not eat it. They also didn’t not have any parm, oregano, or pepper flakes and gave me attitude and said no when I asked for some. I let my hunger get the better of me when I should of just walked away after the first couple issues. And remember there are 8 slices of pizza in a regular pie since you guys didn’t know that.

They always treat us like family. Great BIG portions, always have left overs, but quality ingredients make the food delicious. It is a quiet place, but great for lunch or dinner.

So, Turkish dinner at it's finest. The dinner serving for one was called small. But I saved half for another evening. Still, delicious!

Pasta fagioli has a nice creamy texture with greens, carrots, seasoning, and just the right amount of beans. Needed heating but very flavorful. The potato knish I had heated and what a nice texture of soft buttery mashed potato filling and a perfect crunch to the outside. Several slices of Italian bread accompanied the soup and the mustard for knish was perfect. Big menu and pizzas as well I will have to return to try more. Sandwiches start at $13.50 but I didn't see one to know size so stand by for updates.

Touch of Broadway deli excellent Philly cheese steak combo, nice "lean" (ordered they also have extra lean" ) Rubin on marble rye, favorable chicken soup with pumpernickel bread. Good pickle strips. Fair prices. Menu also has catering. Will be back.

We impulsively stopped by for lunch on a weekday, and decided to dine in. Homemade chicken noodle soup arrived with a slice of fresh pumpernickel. It had huge chunks of chicken and vegetables and was wonderful. We each received complimentary bowls of Cole slaw and kosher dill pickles, which was a nice surprise. Onion rings were great. Both sandwiches (one hot, one cold) were stuffed with insane quantities of fresh meat crammed between slices of soft, fresh bread. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. Minor quibble: An appetizer of onion rings arrived without any plates.Major quibble: Packed ice throughout the parking lot, including all around the handicapped space, made walking VERY treacherous, even for able-bodied people. This is a seriously unsafe situation, and the only reason I am deducting one star.Lunch for two with soup, sandwiches, appetizer and two drinks came to $50, not including tip.

Absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered the Pastrami Ruben on marbled rye with a pickle and a side of cole slaw. It came stuffed to the brim! I ordered chicken fingers (perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside tender and juicy on the inside) Onion Rings in a delicious crisp batter. I also ordered a beet salad which was scrumptious and thick mozzarella sticks for later. Everything was perfect from the piping hot food to the warm attentiveness. We will be back.

This restaurant really earns its name offering delicious huge sandwiches and salads reminiscent of some of the best NYC deli. A large and varied menu to choose from and at reasonable prices. This place has become our go to place. Did I mention the best French Fries you will ever eat?
