Reserved dining room for my husband's 70th surprise party with about 50 guests. The food selections we picked were - salad, bread, veggie riggies, chicken marsala, steak, mixed veggies & mashed potatoes. All food on the buffet was hot & delicious. Attentive staff was friendly and accommodating. Party guests (mostly from out of town) were impressed with the food selection and taste of the food. Your guests can always hide their vehicles behind the Post Office across the street. I highly recommend the Golden Spike Pub for your next celebration.

4 of us had different sandwiches off the menu and all were very good. I had the burger, and to me is the best burger in Syracuse. The waitress was awesome. The atmosphere was appropriate for the venue. Great place to drink and eat.

**Update We've been here weekly since our first visit! Still hooked on the cheese curds. Soups are typically very good, chicken tenders are ridiculously tasty and perfectly crisp.**
First visit but not last! From the moment we were greeted we felt very welcomed. Every bit of food we had from the cheese curds to the beef was FRESH. The beer was cold and the service was exactly what I like - knowledgeable, down to earth, friendly, honest and efficient. From the draft beers to the food - every item is quality! Looking forward to our next visit!

My wife and I love the spike. The food is both incredible (for both bar food and normal entrees) and more than reasonably priced. They have a great selection for beer and drinks and the staff is friendly and fun. The bar has a ton of room and a lot of TVs for sports and the locals are more than friendly. 12 out of 10 stars!

The atmosphere is wonderful, the service is A1! If you haven't had the tenders, do it!! Best tenders I've ever had and the chicken sandwhiches are super yummy too. Absolutely recommend stopping in to see Dom and enjoy a delicious meal!!!
