Had Christmas party there last nite. The food was disgusting. Turkey was salty and had no taste meatballs were salty, pasta was a lump of mushy noodles. None of the food on the buffet was homemade. It was gross.

The vibe was cool, and the food was decent. The artichoke dip was a little greasy for me... but the pita bread it came with was pretty awesome! Drinks were great, I had a side of sautéed mushrooms and onions... it was just ok also, so I go with.... food is 3 stars, service and drinks at the bar... 4 stars... I would do it again.. just not the first place on the list...

This was our first time dining and we were not disappointed! Our waitress was very attentive and the environment allowed for a personal dining experience. We ordered the salmon and filet as our entrees, and we were thrilled with both. The plate presentation was beautiful and our meals were delicious. For dessert we enjoyed the creme brí»lée and a dense chocolate cake, along with coffee. We will be visiting again! Thank you for making a memorable date!

The food is great and the staff is very accommodating! The happy hour from 4-6 is a deal you can't pass up!!! Half off drinks!!!

7 of us ate Thanksgiving Dinner here yesterday and were very happy. The food was very good, the service excellent, and we were impressed that they even had several items marked "GF" for gluten free. I would prefer some regular cranberry sauce, but otherwise they had a good selection of items. We will be back!

Justin's Grille saved my Thanksgiving. After driving five hours to get here, it turned out that the person responsible for making reservations had dropped the ball. Justin's maitre de found us a table, our waitress was incredibly friendly and perfectly timed, and the buffet had a great selection of food, all of which was perfectly cooked and delicious. Thank you!

The service here is very poor. I came in for happy hour today (11/13), and as of my typing this, have waited over half an hour for a charcuterie plate. The bartenders service was actually quite good. However, the restaurant is almost totally empty and still have waited 30 minutes for food. So something is clearly up with the kitchen. Do not come here.

***Hi Yelpers: PASS ON JUSTIN'S GRILL*** Ok, it's a Monday night, 7:30pm....this place is dead quiet. A few local fellas at the bar, that's it. So this is ultimately not about the vibe or ambiance, it's always about the food, right? I started with a glass of red wine, decent. Bread was fresh from oven, fantastic! Then came my dinner....Strike #1 was the dirty knife that was brought to me after I noticed no other dinner knife was at the table. BIG STRIKE #2 was the Brine Roasted Chicken. It was cool in the center. The final strike, #3, was no true sense of a blunder by my waiter, also the bartender (Tom). Not good! I'd pass on this place. Too bad for me, I know there's better places around here but my hotel Front Desk MGR refereed me here. Oh well. I really wanted Syracuse to be memorable. Justin's Grill was a bummer!

We went here once for thanksgiving and i'm sorry but it was just not good..the meat they were carving was way to rare for my liking, the mashed potatoes were cold and there was no pie..how can you have thanksgiving without pumpkin pie?? Was not impressed!

Absolutely horrible food, came with a party of 15 people who all ordered a variety of items on the menu. Not one person was satisfied, most couldn't finish their plates. The waiter urged us to speak to the manager about our experience because this is a very common occurrence with the new menu. When the manager finally came to the table and he ended up arguing with us that the menu is very well manicured and this is the first he has heard of. The service was good, but the food was absolutely horrible, I would never return

My friend Sarah Chapman, Chef at Justin's Grill and Executive Chef Nathan Stewart implemented their new menu this week, and management gave these very creative and talented chefs freedom to create dishes that capture the essence of the art of food. Each dish we ate was a marvelous combination of tastes, textures, and aromas, plated with an artistic skill that epitomizes the chef's craft. Another couple joined my wife and me to sample four of the new creations, and we were thrilled that we did. We started with the best calamari appetizer any of us had ever eaten. Instead of rings of tough rubber bands, this calamari was very tender, sauteed to perfection, with crispy fried fresh basil leaves and a garlic tomato sauce that complimented perfectly. This was followed by the soup du jour, a pureed vegetable soup with rotini with such a delicious balance that my friend said after the first bite, "this makes me happy!" The four of us ordered different entrees, cheese ravioli, monkfish, trout, and fettuccine. Each was so perfectly prepared that we each believed we had chosen the best entree at our table. Since we sat near the open kitchen, I enjoyed watching the chefs put the finishing touches on each plate. Nathan Stewart dusted the rim of the ravioli plate with a paprika duster, then Sarah Chapman garnished the ravioli with corn sprouts using a similar artistic flair as a florist arranging a bouquet. The chefs prepared each entree with care, skill, and passion, producing results that were perfection. Dessert simply continued the adventure upward, with outstanding Creme Brule, a flaky, buttery, and intense Banana Creme Pie, Carrot Cake "just like grandma's," and their Bete Noir, a flourless chocolate cake with Raspberry Puree and Creme Anglese. We each felt like we didn't go out to eat, we were welcomed into Nathan and Sarah's kitchen to enjoy the best of what they had to offer. It wasn't just eating, it was sumptuous fine dining!

Stopped for the night on the east home to MI on a road trip out east. Our first stop was a bat/ restaurant which was a disaster. Being glten free, I need the confidence that I wont get glutened. That would make for a miserable 6 hour drive home tomorrow. Normally, It talion restaurants are not on my gluten free list. Usually just too difficult. Hubby wanted Italian, so we went in period I ask if they could accommodate come up and they were more than accommodating. Hubby had chicken parm with a side of pasta. He said it was delicious, but, promised our was n8t as good as mine. (I am fully aware that the pasta was better, than mine since it was not gluten free). See, why I love this man??? I had a bun-less hamburger, and baked potato. The hamburger was charred on the outside, and medium rare, as I ordered, on the inside. Amazing, at an Italian restaurant! The waiter and staff was extremely accommodating. It wasn't overly busy, they seemed to do a lot of traveling business people. But there was a large party, maybe a family celebrating something. Funny, but as we entered, we recalled that at least 8 years ago, we visited when our son had a lacrosse tournament in town. We remembered that they were very attentive and decent to a very large party of teenage lacrosse players and their parents. Glad to see they are still doing so well, and the food is still very

Mediocre at best. NY strip steak was very firm, at the edge of tough. Over cooked for medium. Baked potato was hard. Atmosphere is meh. The staff was pleasant though. Probably won't return. Many other options in the area.

The duck and risotto was amazing. I didn't think I'd eat it all but I couldn't stop! I was by myself so it was intimating to eat in the dining room. Eating at the bar was great. First time in Syracuse - Justin's was near my hotel - nice surprise!

We have been coming to Justin's for years. Recently, they have changed their menu and took off their Blacked Ahi Tuna which was my favorite. Also, salads used to be INCLUDED in their entrees. Not any more!!!! They charge $ 5.00 for a side salad, which just increased the cost of their entrees. Most restaurants, we frequent, do not charge for their side salads. You only get to choose your sides if you order a beef entree?Their prices were already increased, with the new owner, so is this another increase? What is next? Soon they will charge for the bread..... Sad. We will no longer be going to Justin's. We are not business customers. We are locals.
