Go here immediately. Everything we had was delicious! Classic Mediterranean with a modern twist. Service is delightful and shop is sweet. Byrek (tried both spinach and cheese) are best I’ve ever had. Greek(ish) salad is so good with the figs. Carrot soup also amazing. Very happy to discover this place (its a little hard to find even though it’s next to Trader Joe’s)Kid-friendliness: Came with our baby and breast fed her here (owner said no problem when we asked)

Finally Burek in Eastchester/Scarsdale area. You don’t need to drive to Arthur Ave or the Bronx to get some great Balkan food. Order and take out. Park at Trader Joe’s.

Need something yummy to eat after or before shopping at Trader Joes next door? This little Mediterranean cafe is great. Although they have other options like sandwiches and flatbreads, when in Rome...eat the mediterranean items. Tried the meat pie, byrek. Phenomenal. At $4 for a slice it is a quarter of the size of the pie! $7 for half! You can also get spinach and cheese. They had some really interesting homemade rice pudding: pistachio and rose, strawberry pecan, and there was one more aside from original. I want to try one of those next time. The service was great and they are so friendly! Will be stopping here whenever in the area.
Delicious organic coffee and treats. Lots of gluten free options. Interior is clean and spacious. And right next to Trader Joe's which is super convenient.
