the food is great but inconsistent in quality, the fries sometimes doesn’t come as crispy and the mayonnaise doesn’t always taste the same

Awesome sandwiches. Slightly on the saltier side for the homemade chips. But the sandwiches were spot on.

I was staying down the street and needed lunch so went for it. I would suggest ordering ahead if you come for lunch since it gets busy. My food took a while. I went with the steak bowl and the blt. The steak was overcooked but the bowl had good flavor. Not sure I would reorder. The blt was also just ok. I think I didn’t pick the right stuff to order. Should I have gotten a proper sandwich. Next time.

Cool vibe and an interesting menu. Some vegetarian options but not truly inspired. I had the chicken sandwich with chicken that was very overcooked so dry there was no flavor. Went back a second time within a week and I think I’m already tired of the menu lol.
The dining experience depends on who you get behind the counter the women could care less about giving good customer service and the guys are on point.

Ordered the kale quinoa salad with grilled chicken. It was delicious and I recommend; the ingredients were proportional and well-mixed. Many places will over do it with quinoa, put a large block of feta or use minimal kale. Sorry I don't live in the area as I would regularly eat here.

Well I had the eggplant sandwich and it was excellent. I comes on a fresh sesame seed bun and contents are chopped up so if you are not a huge eggplant fan, it blends with many other ingredients. We also had the grain bowls and beet salad. The grain bowls were great vegan option and very tasty. The beet salad was just okay - but if you like goat cheese it has plenty of it. We would definitely go back!

I have been a loyal fan of Mason’s Sandwich Company for a long time, especially their El Peruano 2.0, which is a sandwich that used to be absolutely top notch every time I ordered it. It was always as fresh as could be. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. The last time I had it, the chicken was dry and the bread was so hard it reminded me of a Goodyear tire. To make matters worse, a family member ordered the flank steak sandwich and it was just as disappointing, tough, and difficult to eat.

This decline did not happen overnight. Over the last two or three orders, the quality has steadily dropped and it is clear they are slipping badly.

If you are thinking about ordering from Mason’s, save yourself the trouble and stay away. Hopefully they will get the message and start taking their food quality seriously again, but until then they are only cheating themselves and their customers.

Absolutely worth the stop. We tried the cheeseburger, flank steak, and the Buffalooch sandwich—each one hit the spot. My 85-year-old mom gave the burger a solid 10/10. I gave the flank steak a 9/10—great flavor, but the bread could’ve been a touch better. The Buffalooch was a standout (9.5/10). I might’ve swapped in a garlic aioli or blue cheese for extra kick, but the chicken itself was phenomenal.

As someone who grew up in the area, I know good food—and this place delivers. I almost hit up Piper’s Kilt for nostalgia (I mean it's a restaurant and not a take out joint so with friends that might be a stronger choice), but this spot has a fresh vibe and serious sandwich game.

I ordered “El Peruano” and had half of the items taken off (no pickle red onion, no queso Frito no mayo no creamy jalapeño sauce) but they still wanted to charge me a dollar for a small packet of bbq sauce. Also, there is a hair in the Mac and cheese.

Best sandwiches ever! My ultimate favorite is the Braised Beef Short Rib, Caramalized Onions, Gruyere, Truffle Aioli on Ciabatta. I go out of my way and at times drive 35+ minutes just to eat here. They also have a great grilled cheese and tomato soup. The fresh homemade chips are awesome as well.
