The vibrant & flavorful tuna tataki salad with wasabi dressing was a pleasant surprise while I was in town for work! I was just picking up takeout quickly but noticed the friendly atmosphere. I’ll sit down & order the same next time.
Heard about this place for years and finally gave it a try. Waitress was very nice, food was very good. We’ll be back. We shared fried mushrooms with horseradish sauce and both got a burger. Kids got a hotdog and pasta with butter. Only thing I’ll say is the smell when we first walked in was a little smelly…like body odor…hoping it was just a one time deal. Maybe someone sitting in the bar area?
It pains me to leave this... I've been going to the triangle for their big burger since I was about 4 years old... So 30 years. The waitress we had (older woman) is just a nasty person... She's miserable. The food is generally OK but they've been slipping for years. The bar side is great, always has been. Just an old school local dive. Won't go back for food. Will go back for drinks.
