Wonderful experience at an iconic restaurant in the Adirondack’s. Extremely busy as result of the 2024 eclipse, but they managed to provide the best service under stressful conditions. No fault of the management, as staff availability is a challenge throughout the northeast, they informed customers that some menu items would be significantly delayed due to the volume of business. Looking around you could tell it was busy, a no brainer to avoid items that would take a while to prepare. We’ll definitely will return and explore those menu items that, on a less busy night, will be a treat. Special thanks for the staff, they deserve the recognition for running nonstop to accommodate the demands of a large audience. They are the hero’s.

I come here every time I visit my parents. Love the staff and food. I had homemade tomato soup, which was delicious. And a salad… attempting to be healthy.I came up for the totality and were so lucky to find a place to eat out.

Have to agree with other reviews recommending to steer clear of this place if you like eating within a reasonable time frame. The two of us arrived at 7:15pm on Sunday, were seated right away, and placed our order (a cheeseburger and paella) no later than 7:25. The server mentioned that the paella might take a bit longer, but I was thinking maybe 20-30 minutes max.After over an hour with no food and no acknowledgement from our server, I flagged her down and asked for an ETA on the food. The server seemed to have forgotten that she was the one who took our order and said, "The other server informed you that the paella takes longer, right?" I reminded her that, yes, she had told me that herself when she took our order, but I mentioned that it had been over an hour and I wasn't expecting it to take quite such a long time.The server went to the kitchen to check and returned to inform me that it would be at least 25 minutes from that point before the food was ready, which to me means that they completely forgot our order and hadn't even fired it yet. Keep in mind that the restaurant closes at 8:00, so it was already past closing time and most tables had already left, so it's not like our order was queued up behind a bunch of others.At that point, we decided to leave and find somewhere else to eat, which at 9pm on a Sunday night meant driving 30 minutes to Lake Placid. Instead of a quick meal at the restaurant adjoining the motel we were staying at, we instead had to go over an hour round trip to get a decent meal. For that reason, I cannot review the quality of the food itself, because they never actually gave us any food—not even any bread or anything to snack on, or the salad that was supposed to come with my meal.What a disappointment. The staff didn't seem to care about us at all, and we wasted over an hour there for nothing. When we got up and left, the two other tables that were left in our section (who had also been waiting a long time for their food) said that we made the right call. I see no reason to patronize this establishment until they make some substantial changes.

The food was awesome. The owners even came by and checked on me and had a little chat. What a amazing place thank you!!! I should also mention the bar tender she was a very pleasant young Brazilian women had a good time visiting with her..

Nice restaurant and food inside as well as the rooms of the motel here across the parking lot.

We had a wonderful dinner here! Our server Diego was excellent! Even though he had many tables, his warm and friendly personality was addictive. The food was prepared perfectly and well presented. There were no issues with any of the dishes for our family of four. The quality of the food was the biggest surprise, surpassing expectations significantly. This restaurant is highly recommended.

We had such a welcoming, warm, lovely and delicious experience at this restaurant. The staff were attentive and genuinely caring. The view (in the back room) was of a lovely, sprawling field. The food was affordable and good. Upon exiting, we commented at the warm and welcoming experience.And when I made the travel-tired mistake of leaving my purse in the bathroom and driving away, they mailed it to me, cash and all, refusing any reward, and saying, "No, no, we are just doing the right thing."

Had a fantastic lunch here yesterday!! Very attentive server and waitress. Food was cooked to perfection!! Loved all the eclectic decor! Highly recommend!

Ordered takeout, when got home saw they gave me incorrect order. So i cant recommend. Check your orders before you leave their establishment.
