Stopped in and got the Chicken sandwich for lunch. It was three small tenders taken out of a warmer, pre-cooked some time MUCH earlier, that were obviously purchased frozen and then fried. The flavor of the sauce on the sandwich was good, but it was a small sandwich for the price. Where is that wonderful-looking sandwich that is on the front page of your website??
We stopped here Friday after a colleague recommended it. We had a medium and heavy spiced meal. Prices were reasonable and The food was ready quickly. The chicken and sides were delicious and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and satisfied.
Great lunch ; sandwich and coleslaw. FRESH coffee. Nice clean place, friendly, fast service. Will definitely return when I'm in the area.5 plus stars!!
Great fried chicken. Love the biscuit gravy. Friendly staff, let me sample the beer on tap flavors. I'll be back for more!!!
Prices are high, unless you get the lunch special. Food is decent. I want to love it more but been a few times and it's just decent
Food was great. Staff was excellent. Nice and clean. Highly suggest supporting this great local spot!
Oh boy! This was good. First off, very original design and decor. Area has every chain you can dream of, but very few original homegrown places to eat. This place fills a void. Chicken, tots, mac and cheese were all excellent. Looking forward to returning to give the full FIVE.
It is what it states, a chicken shack. Blackboard menu behind the counter to order from. If you're looking to be pampered when dining, well this ain't your kind of place.
Great biscuits and loved that you can request the level of spicy for the chicken. Great food and nice variety of beers. Great view from the patio too
We just went there for the first time.the people were great! The chicken was by far the best I have ever had! The sides and beer are just as awesome! We are coming back soon.

This is some of the best chicken I've ever eaten, paired with some really great southern themed sides. Collared greens and pork n beans I'd recommend. Great, we'll thought out atmosphere. Give it a shot!
Pros: Good fried Chicken, flavors, atmosphere
Great food and a cool location. Perfect for my lunch breaks! The collard greens are to die for and the tater tots are perfectly crispy. The chicken is better with a bit of spice, but be wary, a medium shake on the spice still packs some heat! I do wish they weren't cafeteria style, though, as I would prefer the chicken to be a little more fresh and crispy.
Loved the spicy chicken, really liked the tater tots and biscuits, but the green beans and dirty rice were just okay. Chicken was super meaty. Normal meal prices are super expensive. Lunch special isn't bad for $8, but it's not enough food for most people.
Unbelievable! They serve only chicken but at lunch time had no chicken breasts! They had 2 specials the day we went in (our FIRST visit) but we were told they didn't have one of the two. No menus, instead an overhead board advising what we could order (like a fast food restaurant) but all they had that day was chicken thighs and legs! Unreal! Who enters an attractive restaurant to order thighs or legs?!! We won't bother to return.
