I had a bad case of diarrhea the whole day after eating here. It really ruined my plans. Also, one of the waitresses kept pushing us to pay the bill, even though there were still two hours before closing. Overall, not a place I’d come back to.

Paid $40 for a special roll, reg roll, and an appetizer. Not about the price tho. There were several bones in my salmon. Grossed me out every pics had a bone in it

Food were delicious and they are quick to arrive. However for first timer, it is a bit pricey, a dinner cost $40+ before taxes and tips. You can reserve your table to avoid waiting

The only thing Is the price going up everytime more than the one before

With high quality sushi and a wide selection, you would be hard pressed to not enjoy the ayce dinner here at akino.

The food went down the drain since the last time I went. Some how they charge way too much for some left over because a friend made a mistake. Don’t order too much

I love this place and have been coming back several times. The sushi was well prepared and delicious. The rice portion was never overwhelming like many other AYCE places. In fact the sushi is even better than some of the non AYCE sushi places. The selection was great and the service was very tentative. The only downside was the parking could get a bit hectic due to the neighboring businesses but manageable. Or you can simply take the R or M right next by. A true gem in Elmhurst.

I have been many times there and the food and service are incredibly increasing every time.Worth it to spend around $60-65 including tips for all- you - can - eat.I wish they have more space to sit.

Worst Customer Service Ever . We always come here to eat because of their sushi .
But recently their customer service is getting worse everyday. They are super racist. I know they’re always busy but please pay attention on your customer service .

Fantastic ayce sushi! The nigiri fish to rice ratio was perfect, more fish than rice!! Excellent salmon teriyaki and udon too.

Order delivery and when i got here it looked like mussy and it smelt like bad fish when i opened it up. It went straight in the garbage. They are definitely not serving fresh anything here. if this is what they are serving i wouldn’t be suprised if you get sick. AND I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS but i felt like people needed to know before they eat BAD RAW FISH. Be smart about where you get your sushi from.

There are a couple reasons why I rated this place so low. Mainly just centered on pricing alone. For nearly $50!! which is what you have to pay for if you want the buffet special you get access to their entire list of sushi rolls which they have plenty of options which I will give them added points for variety on the menu. Their takeout boxes are crazy priced as in you can get a few signature rolls or so for their least price which would be close to $25 and trust me you won’t be filled on that. If you waste any food they will add that to your bill depending on what was ordered specifically and what quantity. If you want to take any leftovers home I believe it would $20 to your bill as well. They add gratuity as not a tip but a mandatory payment on your bill. The place is also kind of squished together as in not much place to bring your family or group of friends if you want to dine in since it’s always busy. There are a handful of people cooking and working the joint so at least the wait time is not bad 5-10 mins tops depending on what you ordered. You have to circle everything you want on a menu before you order and be careful as in buffets you tend to fill up much faster then anticipated. Circle a few things you can handle eating so you avoid any extra fees and if you want to eat more you can do so by asking for another menu. They do have soju as well as some drinks on the bar.

Food is pretty good, try not to fill up on the apps in order to really enjoy the rolls. Their signature rolls are delicious as well as the classic, I love the salmon skin, anything mango and the akino I believe. The gyoza and rice is also quite good. Service was quite slow for the refills on food so I didn’t love that. Sashimi is good too but I’d skip nigiri. Cash gets you a discount so bring cash if you can !
