The nasi goreng was delicious, but the rendang was so tough it felt like chewing rubber. From the kitchen, I kept hearing the sound of someone coughing. At times, I caught glimpses of staff coughing without wearing masks, which made me feel uneasy. When I tried to pay with a card, I was surprised to find that an additional fee of over 3% was being charged. It was frustrating. On top of that, the restaurant was playing Christian hymns. Considering the diverse religious backgrounds of the guests, playing hymns seemed rather inappropriate.

I didn't take many pictures because I was too busy enjoying the wonderful food. The staff was helpful, the food was amazing, and I can't wait to go back. The restaurant is small, but that is not a negative point. I enjoyed that attribute of the restaurant. You must visit!

The food was outstanding ,every time came over there the foods never dissapointed,
But the waiter was really bad, never said a word even said thank you ,never asked how was the food and how was the service,
The owner was very nice ,and one more thing every time i came there always tipped over 25% from the total of the bills ,
For the owner please asked for your worker to be nice for people

I got ketoprak, tempe mendoan and es doger for my dinner while my friend have some duck and something else I forgot. We went back the next day for lunch and we have bakso malang, bakso urat and bakso beranak and of course es doger. I always recommend my friend when they go to new York to dine at Awang kitchen. Highly recommended.
