Their cakes and cupcakes are always so delicious. And very well decorated. I have used this bakery several times for birthday events, and everything is always perfect. I highly recommend it.

I thought I didn’t have cash on me and the owner offered my little one a free cookie after I told her I left my money. That in itself deserves 5 stars. I found my cash shortly after but he refused to take the money so I placed it in the tip jar. Since this incident we have been a loyal customer and will stop by for a cookie or two every Thursdays. Thank you so much for your kind heart and for making my little one smile. We also love the strawberry cakes!

I’ve lived in Elmhurst all my life and for the first time tried Dubois bakery. They made a beautiful cake for our engagement party. We tried the strawberry shortcake and it was so fresh and the cake was absolutely delicious. If you need a cake, definitely check them out. Will be ordering again for sure!

I don't quite understand the high rating for this place. Not that it was bad; but it also wasn't a standout. Perhaps their cakes are better than their pastries? We got a apple turnover, a palmier, and a circular sugar cookie dipped in chocolate. The turnover and palmier were ok; but the sugar cookie was pretty bland.

My MIL has been going here for decades and recently ordered a Black Forest Cake for a family gathering. That is not what we received. It was a perfectly fine chocolate layer cake with whipped cream but not what was requested, and a call to the bakery to see if there was a mix-up was responded to with "that's how we make it; if you want cherries in it, you have to ask." Well, by definition Black Forest Cake has cherries and cherry liqueur, so why would I think I have to ask for it? It's a pretty standard bakery cake. They also don't know what a Seven Layer Cake is, which is also a fairly standard cake, so I don't know what's going on here.
