I'm not sure why the waitress was so rude. I felt it right away when I was placing our orders. No smile and with a hint of disdain. I've always felt they were not super friendly but today I felt animosity. I brushed it off since I like their food. Then I started watching her with the other customers and she was full on smile and very nice and laughing with them. I continued to look and I realized she really is just acting this way with us. Is it bc we're not Thai?...

I ordered takeout from Khao Nom and the order was ready relatively quickly (10-15 minutes).

🍗 BBQ Chicken: I feel like the skin could have been a lil bit crispier but the chicken tasted good. Dip it in the spicy roasted rice sauce (this is what they called it) and you’ll get a lil spice that is light and a great complement to the chicken and rice.

Best Thai food in NYC! Huge spectrum of rice dishes, soup options and stir fries. I’ve tried at least fifteen things off the menu and never had something I didn’t love. To top it off, the tea and coffee drinks are inexpensive and there’s a wide assortment of desserts. Highly recommend if you’re hungry in Jackson Heights!!
