Kulu prices have increased over the few years but that cannot be helped. Glad their quality stayed the same though, I still really love their foods from the noodles, dumplings to desserts. Service is good and very spacious.

Ordered black sesame dessert. Tasted so watered down! Yuck. Could hardly taste any black sesame flavor. Super slow too even though there wasn't much customers.

I've visited Kulu Desserts at both locations, and the taste was consistently good. I usually opt for takeaway. During my recent visit, I tried three desserts from the menu. The order was promptly prepared, and it was convenient that they were still open. The ambiance wasn't relevant in this case.

As a teenager learning to try new dishes and other foods in NYC, I enjoyed what I ordered, my favorite meal was the ?dumplings of pork, Shrimp, chives plus the spicy flavor?and the other flavors that idk what was it called but it brought the delicious taste to the dumplings, and I loved the matcha smoothie and the atmosphere was amazing. Hopefully I get to try some other desserts like the waffles. :)

Kulu Desserts serves Hong Kong style desserts. Their menu mainly consists of dessert bowls, bubble waffles (in a cup), regular waffles, and drinks. We opted for a dessert bowl and one bubble waffle cup. They have a really large variety of dessert bowls. They are mainly filled with a liquid, one scoop of ice cream, and pieces of fresh fruit. Some of the ingredients that are available in their bowls are grass jelly, mango juice, red bean soup, coconut milk, pudding, and durian. The bubble waffle cups are nothing too fancy. If you have had the bubble waffles from street carts that you see in Chinatowns, then you know what to expect. They take a sheet of those and put it inside a paper cup. And then add some fruit and ice cream. It is a very simple but tasty idea.We did not have the regular waffles, but they are just normal waffles with ice cream and fruit, like you would find in any cafe or diner. I would skip these as you can get those anywhere. The drinks are also skippable as they are ones you can find in any bubble tea place.Overall, this place is worth a visit because they do offer some unique desserts. However, for some reason, the wait was very long - about 15 minutes for two simple desserts. This might explain why the place was empty during lunch time. The desserts are also pretty small for the prices they charge.

Place is known for desserts and typically you get desserts here but I came here for beef noodles with clear soup. The place was pretty packed and barely any seating available. I guess it's a popular place. I ordered the noodles using the self kiosk and it came out pretty quick and I didn't have to wait that long. The portion was alright. Noodles were broken and there were just 2 slices of beef. Very little bok choy too. Mostly soup and noodles.

Kulu gets the job done when you’re looking for a dessert spot in Elmhurst. It doesn’t really stand out to me, but I’ll come here if I’m in the area and looking for something sweet. The dessert options that they have is really diverse and there is something for everyone on the menu, find what fits best for you!
