There used to be many delicious Thai restaurants on 74th Street. I don’t know why many of them have closed. It was my first time to eat here. The fried rice was very good. The fried pork and mixed vegetables were fried. The pork was over-fried. Service is very

We often go to eat at this restaurant because it is one of the Thai restaurants that have drinks and karaoke, but 4 times out of 5 times we have received terrible service. Not just one particular server, but almost every servers who works here. I don't know why it feels like every servers who works here is trained to act fiercely towards customers. There was only our table in the whole restaurant, but the staff didn't really take care of us. They didn't give enough plates to the number of people. Before you can ask for anything, we have to go to tell them at the bar. Even when we asked for the check, we had to ask 3 times because they were too busy wiping the spoon. At long as the servers behave better, We don’t recommend you going, you will be disappointed.

Amazing, authentic Thai food at a very reasonable price! It can be overwhelming choosing a Thai place in Elmhurst/Jackson Heights, as the number of authentic spots are seeming endless. Sabay's perks are that it's right off the subway and easy to get to! I've had a lot of Thai food in the city & have been to Thailand twice.I found Sabay to be offer authentic meals, not catered to the American palate, and that's just how I like it! Beware though, when you ask for spicy it's very spicy Service was super quick and friendly. It's a small place but it did the trick, and for a late lunch we were the only folks there.

Came here with some coworkers for after work lunch and drinks. The place itself is esthetically not that pleasing or clean; the bathrooms were a little scary since you have to walk down a steep stairway to reach them. Our waiter was super lovely and super attentive; since there weren't that many people in the restaurant, we were served our drinks very quickly as well as the food. I ordered their lychee martini which was absolutely delicious (bummer they didn't have happy hour drink specials). However, they do have plenty of lunch specials. As an appetizer, we ordered scallion pancakes which were super tasty. As my entree, I ordered their crispy pork with Chinese broccoli; it came with steamed white rice. This dish was delicious, the pork was super crispy with a perfect crunch and reminded me a lot to Colombian chicharrón. The crispy pork paired perfectly with the Chinese broccoli which was seasoned with a nice brown sauce. The white rice made the whole dish well rounded. I will definitely be returning to try their other delicious dishes.

Went here decades ago so tried again since was in the area. Had the lunch special - depending on the protein, prices are between $10 or $11. It came with a choice of appetizer or salad or soda.I picked pork with basil sauce and was satisfied. I asked for it mild but still had enough spiciness that I can handle. Had Thai dumpling for my appetizer - wasn't good though- wrapper was tough, as well as the filling. Seemed like it was frozen and not steamed enough. Clear soup was a bit salty for me. Thai iced coffee was ok. Service is great so added to the points.

First time ordering from this restaurant. We ordered from Uber eats and while I was eating I found a dead cockroach in my food! When I called them and confronted them. They didn’t even bother to apologize rather they gave us other excuses that the picture where it shows the food was not from their restaurant! Horrible experience!! Thankfully because we ordered from Uber eats we were able to get full refund!

Nice place with decent prices for NYC . The food is not as spicy as you would expect but nice modern touches . Great drink menu and friendly staff

3.5 stars Ordered the Tom yum soup this time, the soup did not taste like proper one. It's too sweet and not sour at all. Just not the right Tom yum soup you would expect. I also ordered the appetite BBQ beef. The portion is amazing, lots of beef inside. But the spicy sauce is odd. A bit of Thai style with a touch of Chinese. The flavor is a bit puzzled.

I just ordered a bunch of food from the Lunch Menu in Doordash, and everything was amazing. I ordered the Tom Yum Soup, Drunken Noodle, Stew Noodle, Thai Fried Rice, and the Sweet Sticky Rice. My favorite was the Tom Yum Soup and Sweet Sticky Rice by far. The soup was so flavorful, and the Sweet Sticky Rice was delicious....I wish it had some fruit, but it was still good. The Thai Fried Rice was a bit bland, but I didn't mind. Plus, the Lunch Menu came with dumplings and Fried Tofu, which had some peanuts. Again...delicious. I will order again.
