Applebee's Grill + Bar

We go to this Applebee's before going to the Islanders games at UBS.
It is decorated with pictures of the local high school and college sports teams as well as pictures of local police and firefighters which I appreciate.
When we go it's usually happy hour and we are able to get happy hour pricing of we sit at a booth in the bar area or at a table in the dining Room.
We have never had a 'bad' server but of course some are better than others.
The food is always consistent and Applebee's always seem to have some some gererous promotion going on to make the meal more affordable.
The food is tasty and the drinks are cold, what more could you ask for.
There is also always a manager visible during our visits.
It can get crowded even at the bar but the crowd seems like all great people who just want to enjoy a beer and a burger etc.

Service sucks. One guy doing damnear the whole restaurant. I ordered the grilled chicken, blackened salmon, broccoli and mash. Dry dry dry! Smh

The photographer on Friday night was so nice and took some great shots. The good of course was good as always.

Have not eaten at Applebee's in 16 or so years. The food quality has declined badly. It was mid week, I wanted something quick but healthier than the fast food option. Opted for the mashed potato and grilled chicken breast. They were out of broccoli but offered garlic green beans. The chicken breats was dry? As if it has been cooked and sitting. It was also semi cold. How do you mess up mashed potatoes?? It was good 15 years ago..who's idea was it to change it. The server was great! He had little to work with and that was not his fault.

We went on November 6th 20:25 for my father-in-law's birthday first off the receptionist was very rude we waited 15 to 20 minutes before we got a waitress to come to our table waitress was very nice, we asked her if it was possible to sing Happy Birthday for my father-in-law with a dessert she came back I told us that no one wanted to sing and that it was impossible to get any of the other workers to help this is why I'm giving one star I will never go to the neighborhood Applebee's that I literally live 5 minutes from The waitress was the only kind person in there

I wish they would serve the Copper Ridge Chardonnay, they replaced it with another house wine that stinks. The food portions use to be bigger.

Went to this Applebees on Halloween and the service was horrible…. My server paola or (what we her name is it starts with a P) she was very very rude. U can tell she don’t like her job or something. She barely came to my table, i had to go get my own drinks and we waited over 45 mins for apps to come out which came out after the meals… and to top it all off there was a hair in my child’s food… will never go back.. the manager Jermaine was amazing he handled it very well. Service just went downhill at this Applebees.

Consistently a pleasant experience for a quick meal after a long day. The staff was courteous and the food was enjoyable. I typically order a drink, but decided to skip it this time. Overall, a dependable spot for good food and friendly service.

Servers are way too slow, this is my 2nd time...same experience. The restaurant isn't busy and Im waiting for my food thinking they must have forgotten...on 2 different occasions. Servers and workers are auper nice...but the wait time for your order is ridiculous.

Had a great experience eating here, the staff was friendly and nice, the food was warm and came out quick, paying was easy using the table kiosk, and I was able to eat lunch from ordering to paying in under 30 mins!

Horrible horrible horrible service here this place needs to be reported to corporate theres clearly no management you walk in everyone looms at you like if you have three heads, what type of restaurant doesn't have a host in the front to greet! The place was dead dead for a Saturday night i placed a togo order at 8:38pm, APPLEBEES APP SAID ORDER WAS READY 9:03 i arrive at 9:04 i have to BOTHER it seems a waiter to direct me where to go theres already ppl waiting for their orders it took 20 minutes for someone to finally come up and even acknowledge i was there, the lady next to me said she was there from 8:40 and it was already 9:11pm and get this….when the waitress finally came the food was already ready down below behind the corner, so they had us standing there for 20 minutes maybe even longer looking like idiots. Oh and they tell me at the end they didn't what i had order(not a big deal) but cmon…i ordered shrimp for a app and they out 5 shrimp in the container..
