On June 19 at around 6:30 PM, I ordered from this Checkers location via Uber Eats. When I opened the sealed delivery bag, a live cockroach fell out. Not crawling around my house inside the delivery bag. I took photos and video. I filed a health department complaint.
The next day, I received a call from someone claiming to be a regional manager. Instead of taking accountability or even apologizing, he tried to blame Uber Eats, claimed he’s “never seen a roach in 10 years,” implied I might be lying to get free food, and then said something truly unbelievable:
“There are no roaches on Long Island.”
That’s what passes for customer service here. Gaslighting, denial, and deflectionwhile someone out there is still being served food from a location with obvious sanitation issues. I don’t care what he’s never seen I saw it yesterday and have the evidence.
Checkers corporate has been notified. So has the Department of Health. I highly recommend you don’t take the risk

Soda is flat. Soda does not taste fresh. They're cheap with the ice.
Average. Employees coils be nicer. Soda have no flavor, only carbonation, no syrup.
