This has become my go-to spot some mornings before work. Not many Jamaican restaurants open this early (7am), so it’s a real convenience to grab a tasty meal without waiting long. Their Ackee and dumpling is always on point, and I appreciate that everything tastes fresh. The restaurant is also very clean. Prices are pretty standard for Jamaican food, so it’s a solid value. If you're in the area and looking for a tasty breakfast or lunch that’s quick and satisfying, I highly recommend Kingston Grill!

I ordered a small curry chicken with white rice. It was barely any curry chicken in my plate. Just bones. Then I ask for 1 extra plantain. She told me it was $2.75 for 5. Opened up my plate it was only 4.
I purchase jerk chicken, rice & peas and a salad yesterday, July 14th, at the UBS arena from Kingston Grill. The chicken was cold, and I even told my girlfriend. It felt like it was refrigerated earlier and was not warmed properly. Well, this morning at around 5:30am I was awakened by my stomach rumbling, very painful and trips to the bathroom. I got some relief, but now at 4:42p, the pain is back. I have never gotten sick from eating out before (I guess I was lucky), but I don't think I'll be eating from Kingston Grill anymore. I don't know if the chicken was old/stale, or because of the wrong temperature it made me sick, or was it the rice & peas? All I know is I've never experienced that kind of pain hours after eating. Not good at all.

The woman who answers the phone is extremely rude and has a horrible attitude. Also, after placing an almost $60 order for delivery she told us the delivery driver “doesn't want to drive right now”
Also the food is not good. The mac and cheese is just plain overcooked noodles with processed cheese melted on top. Go somewhere else!

I've had several meals at Kingston Grill, conveniently its walking distance from my house. There Jamaica dishes are truly Jamaica with their Oxtail, Curry Chicken, Curry Goat, Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork meals being some of my favorites. On certain days, they carry specialty dishes like Stew Peas (with or without pig tails), Tripe & Beans, Cow Foot/Cow Skin and several others. Their seafood meals are also quite good. But what I like most is the option to customize my meal if needs be. This flexibility isn't offered by most restaurants, so on some days, I can tailor my meal to what I want for that day. The customer service is great, and the servers make you feel like a regular on your first visit. I guess that's why I kept coming back and introduced my coworkers to this spot. The only drawback is if you enter from the back of the building, the garbage disposal at the back of the building could be improved. Great place for food and customer service. You won't regret buying food here (whether dining, take out or delivery OR breakfast, lunch or dinner).

These people really know how to cook real Jamaican food! Everything I've ordered so far on Grubhub, all delicious: real jerk chicken with real smoke, curry goat, brown stew fish and potato salad, oh my goodness!!! Food way up!!!!
They did not have what I order but called and still fulfilled our order. I wish I took a picture of the food! Ordered the boneless jerk chicken, oxtail, rice&peas & Mac and it was delicious. Got sweet sauce and oxtail sauce on the rice. Tropical juices good too. Will order again!

Shout out to Justice the barber next door to this place, he recommended Kingston Grill to me and we went in today, spent $200 on food for my family and this place did not disappoint, the food looks great and the place is well kept and clean but the reason I know the food was going to taste good is because the way the employees treat each customer, they are all very pleasant people from what we experienced and you can tell they cook with that same energy, I am a firm believer that if angry humans cook your food then the food will taste angry too! Since it was our first time there, we ordered a bunch of different dishes to try them out. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasty. The glazed salmon was on point! Happy to find a great neighborhood West Indian restaurant close by instead of having to drive to Queens or Brooklyn.
