By far one of the best Biscoff cakes I’ve ever had. I got it for my birthday and I found my favorite cake So far.

Worst experience of my life ordering a cake for my son's 1st birthday.

I ordered an 8-inch cake to serve 15 people and was quoted $175. On the day of the event, I was given a 6-inch cake instead. I also ordered tres leches and Biscoff shooters, but received chocolate and tres leches shooters—not what I ordered.

After multiple attempts to contact the bakery to address these issues and request a partial refund, I finally received a response. Instead of acknowledging the mistakes, the bakery claims they gave me a “4-layer cake” (which was never discussed and does not excuse giving a smaller cake) and completely ignored the fact that I received the wrong cake size and incorrect shooters.

There was no accountability or effort to make things right. This experience left me very disappointed and stressed on what should have been a special day. I would not recommend this bakery based on my experience.

Layers Bakeshop is hands down my favorite bakery. The first time I ever had Layers was actually in Pakistan, so it already held a special place for me. Later on, a close friend introduced me to the U.S. locations and fun fact, she and her brother actually own the franchise. They’ve truly done an amazing job with every store so far.

I’ve been to about three Layers locations, and while the Elmont Layers Bakeshop location is the smallest one, it’s also the closest to me, which makes it my go-to. The quality, presentation, and consistency are always on point.

Honestly, I love almost everything from this bakery, but right now my absolute favorite is anything Lotus-flavored you really can’t go wrong with it. The desserts are rich, balanced, and never disappoint.

I also noticed they’ve started making candles, which is such a smart and creative addition to the brand. It just shows how much thought they put into expanding beyond desserts while keeping the same aesthetic and quality.

If you haven’t tried Layers yet, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommend stopping by especially the Elmont location if you’re nearby.

Their pastry sizes get smaller day by day.
Also their cakes are not moist from inside but very dry and the cream layers on cake are very thin.
I think for the price they were selling, they should’ve done better

Last night we grabbed a chocolate maltesers cake before we went for a bday dinner. And omg it was so good. We are not big cake people but this was gone in seconds. People who never wants cake wanted second servings. It was just so good

Layers Bakeshop is my go-to for delicious cakes and desserts! Everything is fresh, soft, and perfectly sweet. Love that they use Halal ingredients too. The staff is super friendly and the place always smells amazing. Definitely worth a visit!
