I ordered the family meal chicken combo, and instead of receiving the maduros that come with the combo, I received soggy poorly made tostones. I’m sure the person who made my order knew that isn’t what I ordered but they still sent that mess to me because they were too lazy to make maduros. It’s unfortunate because I’ve given this business plenty of my money but never again. Order at your own risk.

The food is delicious each and every time I purchase from them. The atmosphere is beautiful.The service for take out is horrible. No one smiles when they greet you. They have the expression like hurry up I want to sit down. They never give utensils etc.

I placed an order online for rotisserie chicken with rice, beans, and fried plantains at 2:45. I was told the order would be ready by 3:09. I arrived at 3:15 and the order still was not ready. This is food that is already prepared and only needs to be packaged except for the plantains which have to be deep fried. It should not take more than 10 minutes to cook these plantains (thats being generous), but this took 45 minutes to get ready. Also, when I arrived, one person asked me if I needed anything, I told her I was there to pick up my order. She gave me a look, and walked away only saying it wasn't ready yet. 10 minutes later someone else asked me the same question, I gave the same answer and THAT'S when I was told the plantains weren't done yet. Again, this is food that is ready to go and only needs to be packaged. I did not get my complete order until 330 (45 minutes after I placed the order). The employees have no sense of urgency here. I remember my first time coming here, the place was pretty decent. The last few visits I have made it has been on a steady decline and its a shame. I will not be coming back.

Service was not good, they didn’t even say Good afternoon to us. They didn’t say that food came with a sauce that was very heavy and with lots of BBq taste. I do not recommend this place.

I was really looking forward to a good meal, but this experience was a letdown from start to finish. The steak was tough and chewy, completely lacking the tenderness you’d expect. The rice with peas had no flavor at all — just bland and lifeless. Every bite felt like a disappointment. For the price and anticipation, the food simply wasn’t enjoyable in any way. I left feeling unsatisfied and frustrated.

The food tastes pretty good. Feels like it was cooked back home. Delivery times are long.

Update 9/29/2024: I’m honestly one wrong order away from never ordering from this place again. How hard can it be to read a screen and put the right items in a bag? This isn’t rocket science. On multiple occasions, the women packing the food have missed part of my order when I get delivery. And when I call, they act like it's my fault, claiming everything was packed and expecting me to go pick up whatever was missed. If I could go there, I wouldn’t have ordered delivery! It defeats the whole point. Today (9/29/24) was no different—they missed another side. How hard can this be?

Really good food

Food at the buffet is old. Penel was terrible, bacalao was mixed with tuna fish. Sweet plantains were hard. Never again
