I placed an order online for rotisserie chicken with rice, beans, and fried plantains at 2:45. I was told the order would be ready by 3:09. I arrived at 3:15 and the order still was not ready. This is food that is already prepared and only needs to be packaged except for the plantains which have to be deep fried. It should not take more than 10 minutes to cook these plantains (thats being generous), but this took 45 minutes to get ready. Also, when I arrived, one person asked me if I needed anything, I told her I was there to pick up my order. She gave me a look, and walked away only saying it wasn't ready yet. 10 minutes later someone else asked me the same question, I gave the same answer and THAT'S when I was told the plantains weren't done yet. Again, this is food that is ready to go and only needs to be packaged. I did not get my complete order until 330 (45 minutes after I placed the order). The employees have no sense of urgency here. I remember my first time coming here, the place was pretty decent. The last few visits I have made it has been on a steady decline and its a shame. I will not be coming back.

Service was not good, they didn’t even say Good afternoon to us. They didn’t say that food came with a sauce that was very heavy and with lots of BBq taste. I do not recommend this place.

I was really looking forward to a good meal, but this experience was a letdown from start to finish. The steak was tough and chewy, completely lacking the tenderness you’d expect. The rice with peas had no flavor at all — just bland and lifeless. Every bite felt like a disappointment. For the price and anticipation, the food simply wasn’t enjoyable in any way. I left feeling unsatisfied and frustrated.

The food tastes pretty good. Feels like it was cooked back home. Delivery times are long.

Update 9/29/2024: I’m honestly one wrong order away from never ordering from this place again. How hard can it be to read a screen and put the right items in a bag? This isn’t rocket science. On multiple occasions, the women packing the food have missed part of my order when I get delivery. And when I call, they act like it's my fault, claiming everything was packed and expecting me to go pick up whatever was missed. If I could go there, I wouldn’t have ordered delivery! It defeats the whole point. Today (9/29/24) was no different—they missed another side. How hard can this be?

Food at the buffet is old. Penel was terrible, bacalao was mixed with tuna fish. Sweet plantains were hard. Never again

CUSTOMER SERVICE …. Is the most important thing in business. People will eat at a bad restaurant if the service is good. This place has the rudest, most unfriendly staff I’ve ever encountered. I refuse to spend a cent in your establishment

My bf ordered our family size meal on door dash and when i went to go pick it up they did not let me take the food until my bf showed me a screenshot of placing the order.. so i call my bf to do that for me while the owner or manager is basically like hawking over at me so uncomfortably. I then showed them the screenshot telling them information of our order to the T! I said what the order was, the price of it, the time for pick up was ready by 4:59pm.. and still did not want to believe it was my order!!!!?!?! I said SIR! You have my food and one other order next to it on the other side of the counter where no one can see.. i walked in confidently of the name for pick up you are going to tell me i was just magically correct of ALL Names IN THE WORLD I JUST HAPPENED TO GET THE NAME RIGHT ON THAT BAG? i went to grab my bag and said im taking my food now and he then grabbed it back. I said what more do you need from me because now at this rate im going to call the cops. Mind you im there in the beaming hot weather with my 8 year old watching all of this craziness. And he said ok i will call the cops i said on who yourself? And he then stopped. I genuinely felt like he was racist. We are Caucasian and i read reviews others also felt he was judging based on color etc. anyway, I eventually got away and took my food. I had nothing to prove to him/them. I Am Soooo disgusted with them i actually dont even want to eat the food anymore when i got home i was so nauseous looking at it and extremely unsatisfied and disappointed. HIGHLY HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Their food isnt even that good. Their customer service is not worth the “eh its ok food” GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR FOOD PEOPLE!!

Ordered takeout that was delivered. Great portion sizes, and with 6 orders, it felt like a pallet full of food! Ordered the roast pork, rotisserie chicken, and western omelets. They got the order wrong, and I just received fried omelets instead. Other than that, the food arrived pretty hot, and their roast pork and rotisserie chicken were tender and flavorful. You can split one order for two people with the amount of rice that came with each order.

I ordered on uber eats. I ordered a chicken soup and this is what I got. I’m having stomachaches and do you that I can eat this full of salsa… also didn’t got any spoons and I’m at a hotel so am I supposed to eat with my hands?

I work for Northwell Hospital in Franklin Ave and place my order at 11:33 am call them at 12:35 and I was told that the delivery was on its way…now it’s 1:05pm and still no delivery??????
