So I live in Valley Stream and I was anxiously waiting for a West Indian restaurant to be open in my area, so when this restaurant open, I was so excited but let me tell you the food is absolutely horrible, today I was fasting and I went to have some vegetarian dishes. Everything was full of salt, not one dish that I tasted taste great. Everything was full of salt. I have went there before and I had their West Indian fried rice and chow mein and it was OK but today I don’t think I’ll ever go back there.

This is my second time coming to this place, but both times were horrible. I have never ever tasted such bad food. This place shouldn’t even be open. Nothing in there ever tastes good. The roti is so thick and greasy and raw. They should be ashamed to be selling food like this Nothing ever has taste and there’s no salt in anything. What a waste of time and money next time I’m gonna save myself the aggravation and just go to Queens where there is better quality food with better customer service. The lady is so rude in the front, and so distracted, she has such a nasty attitude, and is always talking to her coworkers all the time, acting like if she doesn’t see customers in the front however, you interrupt her she gives you a nasty rude look. This woman shouldn’t even be there besides the food being bad and such bad customer service. I’m very surprised this place is still in business. Such a disappointment!I would never ever come here again. My advice - save your money and go to Bigwell or hacks halal in Queens. It’s definitely worth it you won’t be disappointed. This place is an embarrassment to Guyanese culture & cuisine.

This is a great location, because it is convenient , parking was fairly easy The restaurant is clean, the service was good. I was not impressed with the food. My take out order…the Dahl Puri was tough and seemed old or stale. The Cassava Balls were very tasty but oily Come on Pepper Pot you must do better!

My mom who is picky about guyanese bread loved the bread. She said it was fresh. The food was pretty good. I would order again.

I fed up give this place a chance! Has been disappointing each time! I was handed a stiff, stale dhal puri today, nothing is ever fresh or tasty! The peas were awful and cold, such a waste of money and time! Flavor and spice down the road in valley stream gives you much better quality food and more bang for you buck! Customer service is much more better and friendly there as well

After seeing this restaurant being advertised on INSTAGRAM. I decided to take the 20 mile drive to check it out, I like the decor, the staff were very friendly but the food the food the reason why I was there, I was very disappointed in the presentation, I order curry goat instead I got curry bones, the lo mein with vegetables did not appear to be fresh cooked as it was very mushy , then I order some white rice with spinach and just gravy and I was charged $1790 for that, and a chicken roti with channa I paid $$1600 apparently a roti comes with either potato or channa not both plus 3 sodas, altogether the charged me $65 and some change,I was shocked and went over the price with the lady and yup she said that's the price, got home and ended up putting everything in the garbage it was not worth the 20 mile drive, the food had no taste did not appeared to be freshly cook and severly over priced, I would not go back , it ended up being another overpriced and really bad food that ended up in the thrash!!
