BEST JAMAICAN FOOD HANDS DOWN! During the snow storm I was stuck in a hotel in Brooklyn and I ordered this place on uber eats and got the cook up with boiled dumplings and some porridge. I was so shocked that they would even be open and I felt so lucky someone delivered it. Can you believe after 2 hours on waiting for the delivery the food was still warm 🥹 It was my first time trying food like this and the flavors were bursting! You know when food is so good you crave it again the very next day? That’s what happened the food was just as consistent and had me filled all day. Weeks later I’m craving that porridge and I decide to go to the actual restaurant. The staff was super friendly and the food was just as good as I remember. I recommend this place to anyone craving good authentic Jamaican cuisine. Sooooo delicious!

Food is usually delicious. Not a very wide variety. Soups are the best. Curried shrimp is very good although portions tend to be more rice than shrimp. Servers tend to have a very serious attitude with no smiles. Be sure to count your change. Some servers tend to tip themselves with your change.

I go there just for the porridge.. I always get a Lil attitude because I ask for a certain container to put it in but they always give me what I want. The taste is perfection. Can be a Lil sweet but not overbearing. Worth the price🙂

First let me say I don’t do reviews! But today I had to!!! I ordered lunch carrot cake and cow foot with steam veggies and rice and peas this was my first time ordering from here everything was disgusting $29.97 with delivery fee I just threw it all in the garbage. They didn’t even put a fork or napkins in the bag. The icing was melted completely off the carrot cake which was so nasty and the cow feet taste like it was two days old so disgusting as a Jamaican I never ate such a disgusting dish in my life !!! So turned off I will never eat here again first time and it’s my last!! I just can’t believe they served me this today still in shock!

I order their MEDIUM curry goat the 2 pieces they put in there was good but the rest was Bones nd gravy literally smfh. I’m so mad and hungry waste of money .
The jerk chicken was baked and not grilled. It was dry and tasted stale. The oxtail was tough with no flavor. The patty was decent. I only write this in hopes that they will take pride in their food and improve the quality, because I was very disappointed in the food I ordered.

One of THE BEST jamaican food you would get in NY State !!! Food is outstanding and service is great! I strongly recommend Yard Flavour restaurant in Elmont . No matter how far you are front Elmont, believe me when I tell you IT IS WORTH the drive. Excellent chicken soup!!!! Great curry shrimps! Try it and you will see. Hope everyone enjoys Yard Flavour as much as my family and I do.

The food is good but the customer service is really really bad.The attitude of the two ladies who are working there are not welcoming at all. I’ve been buying foods for many years and the two females are not professional and friendly. I also sent another friend to buy food and he was unhappy as well.
