Came in town to visit my parents and they ordered pizza for me! I love the pizza normally, but this was literally cardboard and was not at all like I remember! Very disappointing and not worth the $28 spent! Maybe less time in the oven and not over cooking would help!
Good food , good prices, good fast service

I have a few points to pick on this certain establishment, like the food they are serving, it is not authentic Italian food like they promote, and trust me if you’ve had REAL Italian food you’d know. The fried calamari was disgusting, did not taste like squid at all and I had boils in my mouth after ingesting. The man was very polite at the counter but I did not know what was soon to be served to me, an abomination of a meal. Their penne vodka was completely flavorless as if they had completely forgotten to season my food not to mention AUTHENTIC penne vodka is more of a creamy pale red color… the embarrassment of a meal I was handed was LIQUIDY and half assed with plain red sauce. I was so distraught and disappointed that just by taking a look at it I went out of my way to go to the grocery store to unfortunately make myself some THE CORRECT WAY, when I went out of my way to save myself some time.

Individuals who run this place are probably some of the nicest people I've ever met in this town. The atmosphere is calming, as soon as you walk in your senses are met with beautiful art and color schemes.

Alot of seating. The restaurant is clean. There is a Bar area.
Parking on the street and in large lot across the street.
Menu has changed over the years. Basic Italian dishes and pizza on the menu.
The scrimp scampi had no garlic flavor and an overwhelming lemon flavor.
Shrimp was ample, large and well cooked.
Service was very good.
It's great to see a family business continuing to operate.

I just had dinner here last night, it was my first visit. I really enjoyed it, I’ll definitely be back. I sat in the back it is very casual; the front is very modern and looks like it would make for a great date night. We had the fried calamari, I really enjoyed it. We also had the chicken florentine soup, the Chicken Sofia and Rigatoni Maria. Both were delicious and made for excellent leftovers.
Parking: There are a few spots in the back to park but get there a little earlier in case they’re filled up.

Ordered by phone and they still gave me something other than my order..I drove the 20 minutes back to get the correct dinner and they made no apologies..no need to go there again for me ..this town has plenty of Italian restaurants that are good and care about the customers they serve..they don't even put their pizzas in a box for take out wtf

Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening and was seated promptly in the back (much nicer seating up front, shoddy in the back). Our server was quite busy, but attentive and took care of everyone. We ordered fried calamari, rigatoni ala vodka, and veal with mushroom and wine. The food came out quickly, but unfortunately it was underwhelming. Calamari was bland and in oddly large pieces, ala vodka was not creamy enough, and the mushroom/wine sauce needs work. Maybe we came on an off night for the kitchen, but there are definitely better Italian restaurants in the area.

I have been searching for pizza that was as close to New Haven style as I could and I finally found it! The pizza was absolutely perfect. The chicken cutlets was out of a bag and fried but fine. the wine and mushroom topping tasted like cheap wine and not much else. But can't get over how good the pizza was. Will be coming back regularly for the pizza so good.

Depressingly dark for an Italian restaurant. Which would be fine if it was just a bar. The food is hit or miss. More a miss this time. The host seemed to be the only one on top of things. Ordered Gnocchi Bianco. 1/2 hr. after ordering waitress( who never smiled until handing us the check) said they were out of gnocchi and I opted for penne. Not very good. FYI Consols Cubbed ham is not “Italian”- prosciutto. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone because it would be a reflection on my taste.

I've been there acouple times lately for takeout and the younger husky kid with the buzzcut, was unfriendly and rushed me. Also the takeout area is pretty chaotic the way its setup, where servers are flying by you. Pizza was decent though. Probably won't be back again. Maybe management should do some more training on the staff

What happened to this place? Extremely disappointed by the food, cleanliness, and atmosphere. Is Jimmy still the owner?
