Grew up on Phil’s Chicken back in the day and moved out of area 35 years ago. Happened by during a visit this week and what a nostalgic experience. First, the chicken was the same as I remember, moist and tasty. Sides were delicious and what was particularly interesting is the son and grandson of the founder”which I knew as a child” were still operating this. One other note is that the place was very clean even though the decor was dated it was spotless in there!
How can you not like Phil's chicken house??? They never disappoint. It has the same taste
every single time. The staff is incredibly friendly. We ordered a take out meal with mashed potatoes and coleslaw and biscuits and gravy and cornbread. If you're from out of town and you are reading this review, get over there right now. Seriously. Just go. And eat. And be satisfied. I want to eat it now!! ?

Wow! 8 million times I drove by this place finally I decided to try it! Why did I not eat here before?! Absolutely amazing. They really know how to make the best chicken around. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of any allergens. Thank you very much will definitely be back with the family! Very reasonable prices too! Highly recommend!
