The Cider Mill is a historic site that not only produces some of the BEST apple cider i have ever tasted in my life but also makes fresh donuts on site and IN SIGHT.
There is a line of windows for viewing, allowing patrons to witness the process, start to finish, whilst keeping a sanitary distance. Every single donut I've tasted, at ANY time of day, tastes like it was literally just made only moments before. It doesn't get any fresher than this!!
Love the cider mill. I have been coming here all my life I think. Field trips from elementary school when u was 6 or 7 till now I'm 49. Always great donuts and cider. Everything else is wonderful.
Everything these days is ridiculously overpriced but worse than that is the donuts taste nothing like they used to. I remember when the donuts would melt in your mouth, even the plain donuts were delicious. Now they taste like store bought donuts and they're smaller of course. Maybe they changed the oil they cooked them in, something drastically changed. Fortunately the cider is still incredible, and the pies, breads, and candy apples are good albeit expensive. And the experience...
