I’ve heard a lot of chatter about how this local cafe has been doing great for the community! I stopped in to grab a nice cup of coffee and leave a few business cards for the locals. Essex Ice Cream Cafe not only has amazing food and coffee but also phenomenal service! The owner Todd was very friendly and professional to speak with. I’m glad I stopped in to meet another local business owner, looking forward to shopping there more often!

What a great experience it was! We’ve got greated by the sweetest and generous person… I forgot to ask his name but he was so gentle. This is such a great spot to go just by the Essex Ferry in direction of Vermont. And this is so charming!

**As previous posters have noted, the negative reviews are from a few years ago when this cafe was under different management.**The new, revamped Essex Ice Cream Cafe is wonderful! The ice cream is delicious. They also have a pretty awesome cheese selection, and many other local treats and goods. The staff are extremely friendly. Highly recommend!

Charming and welcoming spot for ice cream, espresso, and Michigans ?☕️? New owners are friendly and welcoming. They also stock a selection of local cheeses and produce. Great to pick up for a picnic at Beggs Park.

It’s wild to see all the negative reviews! The person who served us was so sweet and patient working by themselves. They even gave us a whole box of water since there’s a water ban. Honestly really great service for 12 people at once! Give them a raise!
