this is easily the best jerk chicken plate in rockaway, and it’s not even close. i ordered 5 jerk chicken dinners plus some sides, and the very helpful young man working hooked me up with great service, which is RARE in far rockaway. my whole order was ready in a couple of minutes, and mind you, he was getting fresh chicken right off the grill and chopping it up. the macaroni and cheese was perfect, not too cheesy and nicely seasoned, the rice and peas were cooked on point. honestly, just go get the food, you won’t regret it. hell, i’m about to go get lunch from there ? very good food that’s worth your money is gonna do it every single time!

This is another good Jamaican spot worth trying in the Far Rockaway area. They did not have roti skin during the time I went but they had stew chicken which was good. This place does take credit and debit cards. One of the cons about this place is that you do not get to see the food. Everything is made fresh to order. Parking is limited. If you are staying in the hotels across the street give this place a try. You and your taste buds will not be disappointed.

I love a place that looks like this. None of that glitz & glamour. Put all that money in the food! Oxtails were juicy. The lady was nice and gave me a complimentary dessert. I definitely found my new hole in the wall when I'm in the Rockaways.

So I ordered from here through Uber eats at around 8pm....there was nothing wrong with the delivery at all but the food was absolutely terrible. I ordered Rasta Pasta and half of my pasta noodles were too hard to even consume. I can tell the food was probably sitting there all day and I probably got the last bit of it because for noodles to be that hard, that's a clear indication of it being old. But instead of cancelling my order through Uber and letting me know they were sold out before closing, they decided to send me the trash anyways. It was also very tasteless. Never tasted Rasta Pasta that bland ever!!! I also ordered an iced tea and received a lemonade. Normally I would've contacted Uber and complained and got a refund but I didn't and gave the food to my dog. Glad someone could enjoy it. I also ordered a Shirley biscuit thinking it was going to be a real biscuit but it was really a pack of cookies lol. I'm not even mad at that because the cookies were really good and I got to enjoy some part of my meal. Never again!!!! Mama's cooking lol yea right!! I'd slap my mama if she ever cooked food like that!!

- The counter woman was extremely patient with my requests and questions - She was extremely accommodating - She gives plenty o food - They take card - You don't get to see the food - I liked the oxtail - rice is good - plantain is good - he stew fish looked good, altho i did not try it - It is some of the best in the neighborhood - j*** chicken is good, but it could have been warmer - they are not stingy with the gravy
