I ordered the fish tacos, chips and salsa, and the water melon juice. The food was good and very fresh. The salsa was a bit too spicy for me, but that’s a matter of preference. The taco was great the melon juice was good but was mealy. The service was quick and friendly. The place had a lot of people they’re dog friendly aaaaand they have a bar. All around good place to grab a quick bite and a drink. They do take out and you can order ahead so that’s great. I would definitely go back.

The fish tacos used to be to die for! Today, not so much. The fish was soggy, the corn taco was single rolled with no lime or sweet flavoring. There was a half a pound of guacamole that made it hard to hold. Idk how it changed but it's not the same as it was five years ago ?

A fun little gem that is easy to drive right by but don't do it. Stop and take in the fun atmosphere and great tacos! We found this place a bit by accident and are very glad we did. Friendly fast service and great vibe!

This will be a frequent place to visit anytime I come surfing from now on. I got two tacos for $11. The chorizo was super good. I loved the sauce and juice. The fish was also good but I liked the chorizo better. So many toppings. It's a thick taco. Great Guac. We had chips too and they were really well seasoned. Such a great vibe here. Played Chris brown music which I loved. Cool surf venue next door that they were prepping for an event.

Vegan Tacos!We loved this place and ended up going back for a second time during our little trip to the beach. We tried the tofu, mushroom, & black bean & sweet plantain tacos. Don’t miss the black bean & sweet plantain tacos - they normally come with cheese but there’s an option to have them made vegan! This is a very hyped place that I was excited to try and it was enjoyable enough but nothing special. The fish in the fish tacos was great fish, perfectly fried. But the salsas were not great, and it just wasn't that enjoyable plain or with the salsas. Watermelon and pineapple drinks were fine. It was also way overpriced. Go to Dorado for the Baja fish tacos.

I find excuses to go to the rockaways just so I can end my beach day here. The chips/guac and tacos are solid, and drinks are perfect on a warm, sunny day. They always have good music & a younger, lively crowd that make you want to hang for hours. It’s the most authentic “beach shack” establishment I’ve come across in NYC in over a decade, and I love it. You won’t be disappointed … other than drinks are cash only… but hey, no one is perfect.
