When Brooklyn delights were first introduced to the supermarkets, I was a big fan of the quality and taste of the muffins, chocolate dipped cookies, and the black and whites. Recently I’ve noticed a big change in the quality and the taste is definitely not the same. Hopefully in the near future you’ll return to the original recipe.
I visited the Farmingdale location yesterday and was greeted with genuine warm smiles and attitudes that reflected their name, delight! The entire staff was very helpful. So much so I had to leave a review. I purchased some local honey, it was sunflower versus the clove. It was delicious in my tea! I resisted the desserts this time, but I will return. Customer service is everything.
I must say that these Black and Whites are the best I have ever eaten. I grew up on Ling Island and ate a lot of black and whites throughout my childhood and adult life. I moved away many years ago and due to my son having a connection to New York I began to order from Brooklyn Delites. The black and whites are outstanding as well as the shipping and packaging.
