Horrible service. We waited forever for menu's. We then waited for the waitress to return but she never did. We left after 25 minutes. This place is poorly managed. We've been here several times and I must say the food is great but get ready for a long wait.

8-2025 update - Food is just amazing now as it was many years ago when I first tried it. Just had the penil yoday with ribs yummy

On Point as always. Were Dominican and can vouch for their food. Its Definitely authentic and delicious.
12-31-21 Update. Food is still delicious, staff always attentive (when not swamped with orders). Had the oven roasted chicken today, my family loved it. A+

I've gone here enough to give it this fair rating....Last time I went, I waited an hour for them to make Chicharrón de pollo...and they were tiny pieces! It was 6pm and they ran out of baked chicken, white rice, black beans and they closed at 9pm!! The food was not great and it is way over priced! Not impressed...unfortunately people that dont have much experience with better Dominican restaurants will think othwrwise...

Food is very good. Mofongo has a nice flavor and even better with the gravy. Chicharron was good. Not that crispy but i know it would be better in restaurant instead of take out. Flavor was good. Sweet platains were good and sweet but I'd hope they would be flatter and more crispy the way I like them. They give a good amount of food for the money. A definite return spot.

Use to grab a lunch special all the time but stopped after there prices went up. The food was blah... so yesterday I decided I would give it another try, the only enjoyable item was the green salad.. the yellow rice was super salty and the pork was dry as hell. But that wasn't the problem, I will say hour later I went out to an event and my stomach said whoa Nelly where you think your goin... I had to scramble to find a bathroom... I blamed it on the green salad... I still had leftovers, so tonight I said let me not let the food go to waste... I reheated my yellow rice and pork, I want to say not even 30 min later again my stomach went grumble grumble again.. and I lost my mind again... I can not afford to lose weight over food making me sick.

Just what I needed coming back home after living in Cali 4 years. Nothing compares to NY when it comes to food variety. Haven't had Dominican Food since I left & that Mangu con los tres Golpes hit different.

Terrible service . I came here with my baby niece , brother and sister in law to enjoy a family dinner after a long week . We ordered 200$ worth of food , and a older lady went on about how we are not allowed to sit here at all . Mean while there are people spending 15$ sitting and eating . I’m not sure if they treat blacks like this , but I’m also Panamanian and just came back from Panama in December for playing pro ball and I overheard her speaking terribly about my family just because whatever arrangement of how we would pay she won’t get a cut unless we sit which she didn’t let us too . Also the place was completely empty only one couple was there. Because this selfish lady wasn’t getting a cut or because we had one plate that was too go she didn’t allot my baby niece to sit and eat . After waiting 1 hour for the food to cook she told my sister again we aren’t able to sit at this point we felt disrespected . And gave them some words ,do NOT eat here . Dominants, Panamanians is Spanish people are suppose to be sticking together especially if you see a niece . Terrible
