Fun time with friends! Our waiter Puma was excellent!
Excellent restaurant top quality. Very clean and beautiful decor. The menu offers a wide selection plus the daily special. We had the Frutta de Mare and it was tremendous- one had the red sauce which was delicious and the other one had the white sauce and garlic which was equally as good. I had veal Marsala and it was mouth watering. The shrimp parmigiana was so much the person couldn’t finish it. The deserts were awesome especially the pistachio/ some form of cheese cake. The service was exceptional and you never felt rushed. You need to make reservations for Saturday night. Leonarda the server was friendly and attentive.
Wonderful restaurant. Our group of almost 20 people had lunch here after a memorial service. Leo, Sergio, and the staff were a pleasure to work with. It was a perfect setting for our group, and the staff were attentive and patient. The food was delicious, and we could not have asked more. Highly recommend.
Food was very good. Old school Italian. You couldn’t ask for better service
They hosted a lunch there for 23 of my family, following the funeral/burial of my father at St. Charles on 10/14/22. I booked ahead of time with Leo (owner) and had the lunch in a private room that was just perfect for the occasion and size of our group. We could not have been more pleased with this restaurant and they get the highest marks across the board. Everyone loved the food. Service was attentive and excellent. They really took great care of us. Beforehand, I didn't know much about the Farmingdale area, but after some online research and my call with Leo, this seemed like the place to have our funeral luncheon and I could not be happier now with how it worked out. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Food is simple and elegant, fresh. Subtle and tantalizing flavors. Excellent service.
Recently went to La Villetta for a large private function. There were about 35 of us and we pretty much filled the place for lunch. Leo was great to work with - setting up a menu and pricing; he offered great choices at affordable rates. The place was all ready for us when we arrived and the wait staff could not have been more professional and attentive. We had a great meal; lots of food and wine, and everyone I spoke with said the food was very good.
Waited entirely too long to get our food ( well over an hour) . No apology. Manager blew me off when I tried to call and discuss our visit. We were the only table in the restaurant ! I own restaurants in the Atlanta area and been in the business for 45 yrs.. Horrible customer service.
My brother had a party in their private room. A week prior to the event, I called and spoke to Leo (the owner) to get clarification on the beer & wine pkg. they offered for party. He told me a list of beers that were included. When our guests arrived & asked for certain beers, the waiter told them it was not included. When I confronted Leo (the owner) he denied telling me this and actually YELLED and fought with me about me in front of other restaurant guests.. He then said "ok, fine, fine," as to just dismiss me. So when my guests asked for certain beers again - the waiter would tell them they didn't have it! After my confrontation with Leo, the waiter then came in and approached me in front of all of our guests defending his "boss" about the included beers and got a bit loud about it. So, basically they were calling me a liar - yet, how did I know which beers they even had there to offer unless I was told! Additionally, the dinners were served - and were supposed to come with potato croquet and veggies. Some guests were served half of a potato croquette, one person had none! When we approached the waiter - he made a joke of it! Yet, it was quite embarrassing to us! Leo (the "owner") did not even once come into the room to check on us throughout the evening to make sure everything was ok. I don't think they know what hospitality/customer service is really about. The food was just okay - was not impressed at all. I would never ever return to this restaurant again or recommend it to anyone - stay away all - the owner is rude and obnoxious and doesn't appreciate your business. He just lost an upcoming 50 person party on a Thursday night !!! I'd rather give it to someone who appreciates the customer and business especially those trying to re-coup after Covid closures.
My family of four just ate at La Villetta on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation (luckily) and arrived to a crowded and busy restaurant. Service was efficient and friendly; we were given complimentary fresh baked bread and bruschetta and cheese. We shared a few appetizers - the Caesar salad was wonderful and the prosciutto/burrata cheese/tomatoes/red peppers choice was divine! Our entrees were a couple of the evenings specials - beef lasagna, short ribs with pappardelle pasta, lobster ravioli in pink sauce with shrimp and crab meat, and grilled chicken with salad. All of us enjoyed our entrees. We were too full for dessert, but the waiter offered a nice complimentary dinner drink to a few of us. This is a keeper in Farmingdale, and we were so glad that we ventured out to a new place! I highly recommend.

Food was served in a timely fashion and beautifully plated. There are many choices on the menu. I had the calamari, lasagna, veal, and dessert. They have an excellent bar. Waiter was very efficient and cheerful. We all enjoyed the ambiance. I plan on returning soon.
I have enjoyed visits to many restaurants on Long Island. I live a few towns away from La villetta but it is always worth the trip when I return . The service is second to none and you are sure to be greeted by the owner with a smile and a handshake. I have enjoyed quite a few items on the menu and have never been disappointed. After enjoying a wonderful meal they always place a plate of fresh fruit on the table and ask if you would enjoy a complementary after dinner drink ? I guess that's their way of saying thank you for dining with them. Absolutely worth a visit if you're in the area ??
Booked an event .. came back to finalize details a few days before ...Manager was rude and obnoxious. He tried changing the pricing on us. He also changed the minimum for the bigger part of the restaurant after the fact . He told us 35 when we booked now 5 days before tells us 45.. small room would have 40 people sitting on each other’s laps When We expressed our displeasure at his attitude and how he was trying to change things we contracted for .. he pretty much threw both of us out. Obviously he kept our deposit.. rude nasty man cost this restaurant a $3,000 party on a Monday night Oh well their loss
Service and food is always great. You are treated as family. Plenty of food to choose from as well as wonderful specials.
Great service old world charm. Excellent seafood dishes. Very attentive service and leisurely dining. Large dessert menu. A must restaurant to try you will return.
