Visited the farmingdale in NY today, came in with high expectations. The service was great friendly stuff now lets talk about the food, I order mei fun noodles it was honestly the worse Chinese noodles I have ever had. I order it with steak the meat was so rubbery and chewy the noodles were cooked nicely but it was lacking a lot of flavor. The noodles came with scramble fried eggs, the eggs looked like there boiled in plastics and than added to the noodles. I spend 20$ really not worth it definitely not coming back

Writing to give a huge shout of thanks to John La Rosa. On a whim and a last minute decision to celebrate a birthday on a busy Friday evening; John put me at ease with navigating a catering order for our family. His recommendations and concerted effort to ensuring I stayed within my budget made ordering a breeze. He lifted what could have been a stressful last minute ask to one that was easy peasy. Greatly appreciative of all his efforts. Mogu will always be a place of consideration for our next family event.

5 Stars To The Mogu Team - Rafi, John & Mike - all involved in my latest catering delivery for a very Special Occasion of my 88 Year Old Parents. First from the start of inquiry at Farmingdale Mogu with Rafi, then to follow-up with John Director of Catering and then the ultimate delivery from Mike who owns the Mogu Brand of Restaurants to Mom Dads house in Massapequa Park - Wow. All my guests from near and far enjoyed immensly every dish we picked out. The new dish of Not So Fried Rice w/veggies was a total hit, all healthy alternatives !! -> {Also noted by my Guests - the delivery packaging very tightly secured containers with ample condiments and utensils.} Highly recommend as always - Mark

Ann was so amazing taking our order. She treated us as if this was a full service restaurant. We will certainly be back coming from Southampton. She’s managerial material.Dietary restrictions: My wife is vegan and she had such a wonderful selection to choose from.Kid-friendliness: My seven year old daughter loved the food. I didn’t realize but she order like three dishes. Of course she couldn’t finish them all but she has left overs too.

This is the worst Chinese place I have ever eaten, I saw reviews and decided to try it but it’s literally the worst, the noodles I had was tasteless and bland, the fried rice I had was like the name not so much as fried rice , tasted like white rice with no salt, the sesame chicken was chicken breast in sweet and sour sauce, it was disgusting!!! I could throw up! I was so upset because I paid a lot for this food , by the way it’s very expensive, I felt bad to throw it out, the portions are extremely small you pay soo much to feed just one person, if you have a family you aren’t going to be able to unless you spending close to 60 bucks in which my opinion you can go eat out in a restaurant not for take out, if I could give this place minus 5 stars I would, if you are from queens or Caribbean, don’t come here , it is not spicy nor is it flavorful save your money go to local place

If you like Chinese fare but not ask the additives and extra salt etc., then mogu is your place to go to for actually healthy Chinese food . Many items are air fried and ask the ingredients are fresh and delicious! Me and a coworker had lunch and had the peppered chicken and it was absolutely scrumptious! Very friendly staff and the atmosphere was very very clean and well lit. There s also free Wi-Fi if you want to extend your lunch and take a video call! ?

Let me start off by the kind, friendly welcome we received by Raf. You don't see that type of customer facing interaction anymore unfortunately, especially here on LI. Since it was our first time dining here he explained how the food is prepared and the different options. We ordered the air-fried vegetable dumplings, Emperor Tso's Chicken & Veggie not-so-fried rice. Everything was absolutely delicious!! I have not eaten Chinese food in years because of the heavy oils, msg and the list goes on. I will definitely be going back real soon and the restaurant is spotless!!

I only recently discovered Mogu in Farmingdale, and let me tell you guys, it is a breath of fresh air, and this is coming from a girl who tends to get a bit sick of always ordering from the typical takeout spots again and again. Mogu serves up the Asian dishes that we all know and love, but it's with a modern twist that makes you feel a bit healthier and lighter to boot. Everything they serve is either air-fried or steamed, but it's all super COMFORTING. We ordered the Emperor Tso's chicken, their elevated take on General Tso's, and the high quality white meat along with the spicy, tangy sauce over white rice certainly hit the spot. Their Singapore Mei Fun, thin curry rice noodles, was definitely another *chef's kiss moment* since the soothing dish gave me *Indian cuisine vibes* as well. We also sampled their King Egg Roll, except this egg roll was filled with steak and mushrooms and served with a sriracha mayo, which is honestly my kind of egg roll. For dessert, we tried their Strawberry Mochi, I've been obsessed with Mochi lately, and it was certainly a refreshing palate cleanser to satisfy my little ice cream craving. Mogu is a casual eatery, but one that's still very pleasant to dine in, and I totally look forward to coming back. (Next time, I have my eyes on their ribs, yum!)

I had a great experience. The food was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. The king egg roll and orange chicken was really good. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Asian cuisine.

See updated review below: i come here at least once a week and food quality is always great but last week they left the protein (steak) off the order that they charged extra for - when I came back this week to place the same order - mei fun noodles with shrimp and steak (they charge for the extra protein, steak) I mentioned that they forgot to add it to my order the person taking my order didn't offer me the steak this time at no cost to make up for the missing steak from last time. Unfortunately service suffers in many places now a days but that's a shame. I'll just have to see it as a donation and always double check my order before I leave. Update! Jared, one of the owners made things right. Thank you Jared and MÓGŪ - I'll be back.
