This is a hidden gem in the heart of Farmingdale. Food was excellent! Our new favorites - Planteen and Mangú! Excellent, friendly and attentive service. Very lovely cute place! Love the yarn of basket on second floor. Couldn't resist but to sit on the glider & start knitting!

We had the pleasure of dining at My Grandmother's Kitchen, a local establishment. It was our first time there, and we were thoroughly impressed. The breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was delightful. We look forward to returning soon.

We decided to try a new place for lunch and i had this place bookmarked. it is a cute cafe and the staff were so friendly and checking in with us a few times, which is appreciated. Nice menu of brunch/breakfast and lunch items. the service was prompt as I was so hungry! i enjoyed my cranberry chicken salad and the side salads were fresh tasting. I will definitely try this again!

I had a great breakfast at My Grandmother's Kitchen today. It was a ham, egg and cheddar Monte Cristo sandwich, and it was as good as you can imagine. No notes, I wouldn't have changed a thing.

This was the third time there and all three times everything was cooked absolutely perfect! This time I got the steak and eggs breakfast and it was the best I ever had anywhere! Chef here is absolutely the best and our waiter Nil is so pleasant and attentive serves you with a genuine smile to make your meal experience even better. I literally have nothing to complain about all 3 times here. I rarely take the time to leave reviews but I had to this time it is so good! I took a few bites of the steak and eggs breakfast before I took the pic but I included it in here.

Let me begin with the positive. The people were very nice. However, the food was ok. My Eggs Benedict was difficult to cut, and the Hollandaise wasn't really Hollandaise, and cold. The potatoes needed salt and less oil.My husband did not like his Monte Cristo at all, though he didn't know what it was. They did take it off the bill, very nice. The decorations are tacky, but that is my personal taste. And we had to flag someone down for both more coffee and the check.Probably won't be back. There is a reason it wasn't very full.

Best breakfast place on Long Island! Excellent food, ambience, wait staff and value. Amazing selection of classic, as well as unique, menu choices. Attentive and friendly staff. Last Sunday morning we enjoyed live music by an excellent guitarist as we feasted on yet another delicious meal. Neil was great with his indomitable joyous demeanor as he brings you your meal along with his signature "Tada!" (and his rendition of "Happy Birthday" is also quite good!).

Ended up here by accident this morning and beyond grateful that we did. New favorite spot added. Staff was soo amazing I kept saying I feel like I'm on vacation because they just made you feel like they were loving life and enjoying their day so much that it made me enjoy my day. Fresh squeezed orange juice with no pulp- perfection. Food tasted delicious, soo fresh and cooked perfectly. Their presentation for the kids was a wonderful touch. Make your way to My Grandmother's Kitchen as fast as you can to have a delicious breakfast with even better company.Kid-friendliness: The most kid friendliest place, staff goes above and beyond for them. Guests and staff so friendly.

Updating my review because I have been here 100 times since. Absolutely adore this place. Specials are always changing and always taste so good. Reminds me of a little European cafe or something. Service takes a while but that's why I love it here, great neighborly vibe. Staff and customers are all so friendly. Definitely Bae & my's favorite weekend place.
