The food was overpriced and not very good. The drinks were watered down. We had the Thai fries and calamari to start- calamari was super fisht tasting, the fries were nothing special and fhe flavors missed rhe mark, and the entrees like rhe chicken were tasteless.

My wife and I came here at 5 pm on a Friday. The entire place was empty so we sat at a high top near the bar. Tried to order off the happy hour menu and they said we had to be sitting at the bar so we moved 5 feet to the bar. Ordered an espresso martini and an old fashioned. Both my wife and I had one sip but it down and asked for the check. Paid and left. It was the worst drinks and worst experience. Looks like management hasn’t changed and they have no idea how to make drinks.

What a fabulous addition to this already booming downtown Farmingdale scene! Kudos to the owner for effortlessly bringing such an eccentric, fresh vibe and a truly creative twist on classic dishes. The Tri-Color Lasagna was a standout, and the burger topped with a kimchi pickling was unexpectedly amazing- the kind of flavor combo you don't forget.

Every dish feels thoughtful and balanced and its clear that Chef Bynum pours his heart and soul into his food. Everything pairs beautifully, the atmosphere is inviting and the whole experience feels both unique and comforting.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for such flavorful inspired cooking! I can't wait to come back.

The Tasting Room is a wonderful new restaurant in Farmingdale. The ambiance provides a cozy and elegant atmosphere. The owner, Jeff and his staff, are very friendly going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience. The menu offers a great selection and a variety of wonderful dishes. I had the steak which was cooked perfectly and the flavors were absolutely delicious!! The presentation of the dish was so professional. I am looking forward to going back to try some other dishes. The bar offers a great selection of drinks. I would give this restaurant a 10 star rating if I could. This restaurant is a must try!!

Tasting room is a hit! From the atmosphere to the food and the creative cocktails that they’re making this place is a very welcomed addition to the downtown Farmingdale area. From the burger to the lasagna, everything we ordered was yummy. The owner is a very hard-working long-standing business owner Who puts his heart and soul into his establishment. I highly recommend giving Tasting Room a try.

This place is absolutely gorgeous — cozy, stylish, and so inviting. The food is incredible, with creative dishes that taste as good as they look. Service is warm and attentive, and the whole vibe makes you want to stay a little longer. A fantastic new gem for downtown Farmingdale!

Omg. Got the chimichurri steak and the Thai fries to split with my friend. We are both celiac and both of these things work really well with our diet. The exploding flavor in both dishes…..wow. The creamsicle drink and the blueberry lemon drop was also so tasty. Dangerous!!! Definitely will be going back!
