They took the $10 Espresso Martini off the Happy Hour menu, darn it! Now it is regularly priced at $17. Trento’s version of the Espresso Martini is my favorite one on Long Island!The fried calamari is so lightly breaded that I felt I was eating just the fish. It is the best calamari that I have ever had on Long Island.However, the Fusilli Bolognese tasted meh! Nevertheless, this restaurant deserves five stars for its quality of food and superb service.

Food was really good. Service on point. Waiter knew exactly what we were drinking before we could get the words out. We ordered the meatball appetizer which was phenomenal and the porterhouse for dinner. It did not disappoint.

Four of us for dinner, salads and appetizers excellent (calamari & meatball)......veal chop excellent, shrimp & scallops special excellent, two of us had a special linguine with tuna pieces, anchovies - we were both disappointed - was like chinese lo mein with ting tuna bits mixed in and small portion - disappointed - with tip and a few drinks $132 per man .....so for me expensive and not worth it.......had to eat agian when I got home ......

The food was very mediocre. Went for a Sunday price- fix dinner. Very slow service, the waitresses was mia multiple times for a long time. Salad was okay, meatball was meh, steak not cooked properly and plated like a child did it. 3 wines I asked to try - none available. And dessert took almost 40 minutes - that's when the waitress went mia, they had a big party that night so I guess we were not important.
Not sure how some people rate this higher. Dinner for 5 of us. Steaks were over cooked so sent back and then had no taste. Chilean sea bass with mussels, well whole plate was cold!! Sent that back also. Came back but just warm. A good portion but drenched with sauce that was salty. Nowhere near being a reputable steakhouse!!

My husband and I go to Trento every year on Valentine's Day (as well as throughout the year). We absolutely love everything about it. The service is always fast and excellent. The food is delicious and the vibes are always amazing. Music was great once again. It's always been a place I love to come back to and a place I love to recommend to others.

We had returned to Trento after a short absence after our favorite mgr. left. All is well. Went with wife and daughter for a Valentine's lunch after several recent happy visits. Two mgrs. met and came over during our meal to ask us how things were going. Things were going very well. Great soup, egg plant appetizer and truffolini entrees. Great, friendly, helpful service by “Rob” too. Ended lovely lunch with a Nepoliandelicato and cappuccino. Great Saint Valentine's Day lunch. Glad we came.

Went for a business dinner on a Monday night. The place was nice and quiet and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. Service was fantastic and all our orders were delivered promptly and correctly. They have a nice limited menu which is complemented by nightly specials. The wine list isn't that extensive, but like the food menu, everything was top notch and made for easier decisions.
