Food was great service was very slow...wasn't very happy how long we waited for apps to food to dessert and also server came over very little and ask if we needed anything... sons soda took almost 10 mins to get....
Nice Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Farmingdale. I went on a Friday night with some friends, we had drinks, appetizers, and obviously main courses. Everything was good from the bay clams to the fried calamari and the muscles with a basil cream sauce. For dinner, also Buco, chicken, Parm, Bronzino, and eggplant dish, and a chicken and sausage platter were served. The weight staff was excellent. They were constantly offering us more drinks topping off the glasses of water. Dessert and coffee was later served overall we had a very enjoyable evening. Vespa in Farmingdale is essentially located near the Nassau County Suffolk County border. It's a great meet up spot for friends who live in Suffolk County and as well friends who live in Nassau. I would definitely recommend Vespa in Farmingdale. I recently read that they opened up a second location. I will definitely be back to this location. Bon appétit.
The service and food was excellent. The three course special was perfectly proportioned and included a glass of wine.
Great gluten free options and the service was great. We didn't wait long for food or drinks. Very personable.
We got there early and they seated us early . The food was amazing and the service was great.
An impromptu decision to dine out brought me and my friend to Vespa Sunday for an early dinner. Ambience was lovely, our waitress Jenna was a delight, the food was delicious and the cocktails hit the spot! Will definitely return to try other things on their extensive menu.. definitely recommend this restaurant in the heart of Farmingdale 💚💚
This was our first visit to Vespa in the 10 years that it has been in the next town over from us. How did that happen? Vespa is an absolute gem. The food is fresh, inventive, and incredible. The service was friendly and attentive. Already planning our next Vespa trip!
Usually delicious, bolognese was a little off and they used lasagna noodles which were to heavy. Drinks and app's delicious
Vespa never disappoints! Wine down Wednesday with half off bottles, large pasta dishes, pleasant service & open window views of main street makes this a perfect choice for your dinner expectations!
I had the Paadelle Bolognese and I was not thrilled, which is why I didn't give it five stars. There was nothing Bolognese about it. It was just a thick Ragu.

Had table for six in our own corner. Wait staff was very attentive. Catered to our needs. Had an enjoyable time.
Always enjoy dining at Vespa. They make great cocktails. I love that they have nut-free pesto, I ordered the salmon over baby artichokes and it was delicious. Service was great. We will return
Food & drinks were delicious. Especially loved the Con Fungi pizza & the Papperdelle Bolognese. Great Spot in Farmingdale with extensive menu.
We had a very pleasant dinner at Vespa. Everyone enjoyed their entre. Wait staff was attentive and professional. The portions were ample.
I heard good things about Vespa, so maybe my expectations were too high. The pros, staff, service, bread, calamari cooked perfectly. Cons, clams oreganato shouldn't be that big, too chewy. Pasta was a little too Al dente for my taste. The desserts were not bad. Overall not bad, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
