Vespa Italian Kitchen & Bar

The menu was great! Had a lot of different authentic Sicilian dishes to chose from. They also make an amazing Old Fashion.

if i could give this establishment zero stars, i would without second thought. from the moment we walked in, the experience was bad. we waited almost 20 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. once we were seated, our waitress was not attentive by any means.. we literally saw her 3 times during our 2 1/2 hour dining experience. our food took almost 90 minutes to arrive... we ordered 2 plain pizzas, mozzarella sticks, and pasta. when the food arrived, it was lukewarm and mediocre at best. there were other parties who were seated after us, received their food before us, and were paid and gone by the time we actually received our food. it was so bad that the front door girl circled our table multiple times throughout the night. i would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

The food and service at Vespa was outstanding. Definitely a little expensive, but what restaurant is not anymore? The Branzino was crispy with a flavorful pesto dipping sauce, it was outstanding. The hostess graciously moved us to a booth from a table near the entrance when we asked. My only complaint was the noise level. Why does every restaurant have loud background music playing that forces the patrons to scream in conversation? I understand it at a club or bar, but it's so hard to have a conversation and catch up with friends. I will definitely go back, but during the week when hopefully the noise level is better.

Have been dining at Vespa for a long time. They never disappoint the food and drinks are always great.

Vespa is one of my favorite restaurants! My husband and are regulars (usually twice a week) and every time the food, wine and atmosphere are 10/10.

I noted thru open table it was my friends birthday however nothing was acknowledged during our evening

Finally made it to vespa after living here for many, many years and I was not disappointed! The food and service was fantastic here and nothing short of perfect. The hostesses were kind and welcoming, I had the best time with my family we had Jenna as a server and absolutely loved her! We will definitely be returning!!!!

I had such an uncomfortable experience here. I've been here several times. The owner caused a scene at a table nearby us that we overheard. His fire alarm went off and he went over to a table accusing them of causing it and was verbally attacking them. I had a large reservation here coming up that I cancelled because I will not support a business that treats their customers absolutely horrible!!!!

I ate here tonight. The food was mediocre at best. I will never return because I witnessed the owner of this restaurant absolutely scream and talk down to a table next to us. A fire alarm had went off for about 30 seconds and I guess the person at the table next to us was in the bathroom at the time. The owner went up to him and accused him of smoking when he kept politely denied it the owner was still yelling and saying they cost him money. He made a scene. I was horrified. Will never return to a place like this again!

Came here and was treated absolutely horrible by the owner!!!!! Mean, accusatory and unprofessional. I came here with my boyfriend to eat. We each had one drink and were waiting on the food we ordered. My boyfriend went to the bathroom and around the time he came out a fire alarm when off for about a minute. He came back to the table and a man (the owner) came up to him and screamed at him for smoking in the bathroom. My boyfriend responded totally shocked and politely said I wasn't smoking. Then the owner continued to scream and told us we cost him $1500. We got up and left. I asked the guy if he was the owner and said he is disgusting for talking to us like that. He was nasty and told me to get out. He ruined our dinner. I have worked at restaurants for years and never in my life heard an owner or any staff member come up to someone like that. .

Loved this place for me and my little guy. We got the exclusive back room and were seated right away on a busy Saturday during the fall festivities.

We had a party of eight people. What an amazing experience. Service was exceptional, as was the food quality! Thanks for everything!! Pete from Smithtown
