Shockingly good Neapolitan pizzas and fresh made pastas. Simple, high-quality ingredients. Some fun imported drinks. Croquette appetizer is comforting, crispy, delish. Attentive service. Definitely coming back. Bravo.
So delicious

I checked out Vico in Farmingdale and it turned out they're using top-shelf ingredients, no artificial flavors, colorings, preservatives, and GMO's. They only use high-quality oils, no seed oils, and man, the pizza was like I was transported to Naples, Italy, it was honestly some of the best pizza I've had in a long time.

Food was good and service was excellent. Ambience needs to be improved. Music was so loud that many were speaking very loudly just to communicate with each other which made the noise level even worse. After complaining to the waitress she lowered the volume on the background music.
We love Vico! The burrata and strawberry salad is just fantastic and we get it every time! Every pizza we’ve tried has been delicious - so fresh and light and perfectly cooked. Loved the pizza 83 with roasted red pepper sauce. Excellent drink selection too - the margs are especially fun and tasty. The restaurant is lovely inside, with some outdoor seating as well. Really nice staff, and great service. Vico is fast becoming our favorite spot in Farmingdale!

Have been to Vico several times and it does not disappoint. This time we wanted to get some apps and a pizza to split. The waitress told us the pizza was backed up due to to-go orders so she suggested we put in the pizza order right away along with any appetizers. We ordered the strawberry and fig burrata salad, a cacio e pepe croquet, and a pizza (red pepper sauce and sausage). The apps came out fairly quickly and were delicious. However, the pizza came out about 5 minutes after the apps. Waitress apologized because we weren't anywhere near finished with the apps. Pizza was lukewarm by the time we got to it. I guess the kitchen wasn't as backed up as they thought. But it was fine. Had the lemoncello tiramisu for dessert and it was excellent. Will be back!
Overly priced dishes! The pizza was ok! Definitely had better taste Neapolitan pizza at other places and cheaper. 3 euros cover charge per person. I say overall. Avoid!!

Food had no taste and was cold. Meatballs were dry, spaghetti and clam sauce had no sauce, no flavor of garlic or clams. Espresso affigato was so thick and bitter it was inedible. Down to the homemade biscotti that were flavorless. I'm confused by all the 4 and 5 star reviews because it really wasn't good. Just an additional note since owner stated in response to first review that using parmasean cheese, that was for my pasta not the clam sauce. AND the server was nothing but grateful we told him about the clam sauce being flavorless and not up to par. As far as the meatballs being cold, they also came with huge chuncks of uncooked bread in them. You are right about this restaurant not being for me and being that the restaurant was mainly empty, I'm guessing the 5 star reviews are from family members.

We've eaten at Vico twice and both times it was wonderful, with an excellent menu and delicious, fresh food. We've tried two pizzas so far, and both were delicious. The gigantic potato croquette we ordered was amazing, suitable for 4 rather than 2 as the menu suggests. We had the cacio d pepe version. Also, the whipped ricotta small plate was also great. SAs far as pasta, so far we've eaten the ravioli, the gnocchi, and the spaghetti with clams, and all were homemade, cooked to perfection, and delicious. Service was great, drinks were good, and we'll definitely be back to try more of their original and traditional dishes. All-in-all, a definite '5' among the crowded and bustling downtown Farmingdale restaurant scene.
