Unfortunately I had a terrible experience at the Wild Rose. I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance because I was hoping to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday with an amazing night out & I had received recommendations from friends to come here. I scheduled a 7:30pm reservation & we weren’t brought into the dining room until 8:30pm after sitting at our table for 15 more minutes without being greeted by our server, we decided to leave because we were extremely hungry and disappointed in the service. It was extremely disappointed as I was hoping to have a great night out celebrating his birthday and this was our only night out during our weekend stay in North Conway. After wasting >1 hour, we finally decided to leave, however it was hard to find other restaurants still open at 9:00pm. If we knew The Wild Rose was going to be too busy to take us I wish they would’ve been upfront with how long the wait & delayed service would be so that we could find elsewhere to eat at that time. Seems very pointless to me to make a reservation weeks in advance if we aren’t going to have service for over an hour after.

What a major disappointment. I stopped here after work hoping to have a drink and grab some food to go, bartenders ignored me for the majority of my visit. At one point there must’ve been a shift change, no one told me this though (lol). The first bartender didn’t know the beer I ordered, which was on tap, and tried telling me they didn’t have it. Never got a food menu or offered one.. I waited over 15 mins with no bartender in sight just to pay for a stale/flat $8 beer that was at least 30% foam. Also.. this place seriously smells awful. Happy to say I’ll never be returning.
