The food was great and fresh. The location was clean and with a great balance of culture and authenticity. You can sit in if you come at the right because the location does get packed and the line can be long.
Parking: It's a shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking available.
My wife and I dropped into Los Arcos on Sunday - haven't been to the Bar for a while as we have only just started traveling again. Have to say was delightfully surprised you can see that the bar and restaurant has been spruced up so we tried the Sunday lunch. Meats were fresh and tender and the meal arrived warm with generous servings, a lovely afternoon with a couple of beers and great atmosphere so a big thank you to the staff
Family delicious meals. Portuguese or Mexican excellent food!
Please please please spend some money on the playground. The floor is uneven and has holes in (just make it grass) so the children are always falling over. There’s nails sticking out of the wooden toys, the €1 slot machines don’t work, swings are broken. It’s really bad and such a shame as it would make it such a great place to come as a family.
In all my 61 years I have NEVER tasted such disgusting food in my entire life. Halloumi cheese was thrown on the plate, looked like burnt leather and we couldn't really tell what we were eating. Their Sunday roasts were definitely the most shameful excuse for a British meal I've ever seen - all 3 of them, ham, turkey and beef. The cauliflower cheese tasted of the cheapest plastic cheese you can imagine. The roast potatoes were like cardboard. The parsnips were like rubber and full of grease/oil. The gravy had a strange flavour of anything other than meat, and the worst of all - what were supposed to be Yorkshire puddings. Overdone, rubbery, full of grease and tasted like a combination of all the other items on the plate. The staff (!! ?) consisted of the owners who didn't seem to understand a word of Spanish and the daughter, whose appearance would better match a seedy night club than a Sunday dinner restaurant. She had no idea how to attend a table, nor explain how their menu worked. I was so ashamed to take my Spanish friends to such a grotty place. They've now got a clear idea of what British cooking is like and will certainly never want to risk trying it again. I'd hate to see inside their kitchen. I can't pinpoint where the disgusting flavour of all their food actually came from, but have a feeling it might be either very old overused or burnt oil, or even worse - lard.
For years and years we have visited Los Arcos but we will not anymore… The quality of the clientele is going downhill. Junkies, drunks, drugdealers; this was our last experience. We just to enjoy a drink on the terrace. Such a shame. Looking for an alternative is our only option.
Initially emailed trying to book a table but no response - ended calling up Booked over the phone - When we arrived no table had been reserved - guy just said these things happen …, ha jokers
New Ownership, but the Portuguese food is still authentic. Some Mexican dishes on the menu too. When I walked in I heard some clients speaking Portuguese that is always a good sign when looking for authentic food. Most of the staff is not Portuguese l, but the food never less is authentic
Great ace! not the biggest but good vibes, great food, very generous portions at adorable prices. The service is always smiling and friendly!
So disappointed. Have been coming here for 10+ years but this is our first visit post Covid. Couldn’t be more disappointed . Couldn’t have been made to feel more unwelcome when one particular individual on the staff ( I think the manageress) who on one visit visibly put her head in her hands and said “f***** hell” when we arrived. It was only 10pm but the bar was getting quieter. We understood closing time was midnight but it was clear that our custom wasn't to be appreciated at that time and they were hoping to get away early. We’ve been staying in the area for a week and on our last night we popped in for a drink before bed. Again this particular staff person made it very clear to her staff that we shouldn’t be allowed in due to a private jubilee party. This was despite the fact that the young guy behind the bar was most pleased to see us and clearly recognised that it made good business sense to invite us in - we must have spent c.1k euros this week! I have to make the comment that all the young bar staff are absolutely FANTASTIC - they work super hard and are really friendly but it was just the manageress who was extremely unwelcoming. The only reason we kept going back was because our children love to play football on the Astro pitch so they have a unique selling point here but the place is looking so tired. There are weeds everywhere and the seats are dirty and the tables need a good wipe . This was a big favourite bar of ours and many a great evening spent here over the last 10 years but sadly this years visit was sadly lacking . Atmosphere has gone and we were made to feel incredibly unwelcome by the manageress here - she is just simply rude and the rest of the management team need to realise quickly quite how bad for business she is. We won’t return again

Nice bar, good for kids, well if you are not playing bingo on Tuesday’s that is, we asked if we could play, we were told yes and then the vile old women that runs the bingo was heard saying to other staff that we had f…ked up all of their seating arrangements! (The words she used) then the cheating old witch left my 9 yr old crying all night when he had won fair and square, but she said he hadn’t just because he shouted when she was calling a number ( that’s the point of the game) she wanted all her regulars to win and have the money! you should be ashamed of yourself! Giving the decent English people a bad name. I do not usually write things like this but she is the most vile, vulgar and disgusting person I have ever met.
Very expensive for the food quality and quantity.....
Sadly lacking nice bars in the area so visited Los Arcos for the first Time in years. Not again! Sat down at a table covered in fag ash (nowhere else to sit) whilst a waitress completely ignored us and carried on chatting to her friends. After we made eye contact with another member of staff who was more interested in her vape than her customers, another waitress came over and announced 'I'm trying to go home'. We apologised thinking they were waiting to close but no, she literally wanted to let us know what an inconvenience we were as she was finishing her shift. Promptly paid and will never go back!
I wanted to write the review for this place immediately after I ate the first course, and the second course just made it that much better. I’ve been to Portugal a few times and this place does it better than the real thing. I couldn’t recommend the Portuguese style clams enough. Served with linguica and onions in a delicious sauce. Dipping the bread in the sauce is the expert level move. The second course was the grilled branzino and this one was the icing on the cake. The char on the fish combined with the freshness is amazing. This place is one of a kind. I seriously can’t recommend this place more.
Decent food, great for kids parties, they also show the football. Easy parking and a good place for all the family
