We used to go to this diner way back when it was Chris' diner. We came to Gabinos shortly after it opened. The service and people were friendly and the breakfast very good. Due to a crazy amount of medical issues we did not venture out for a long time. Visited recently and it was just as clean and the staff just as personable. Found this gem after pickleball in Bellport while looking for a diner, and they were still open. We were pleasantly surprised old the old style diner atmosphere and more so, It was Mexican. I had the pollo fajitas, and my friend had the pollo enchiladas. The food was fantastic, the waitress was awesome, so we will definitely be back for more. Traveling back from a trip on a Sunday. We didn’t want to go to a chain so googled Mexican restaurant near me and this came up. It’s a small diner and was crowded. Language barrier was a tiny bit of a challenge but made it work. The food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. I mean so, so good! I’m so glad we stopped here
