Been coming here for 2 years now and will never go to any other Mexican restaurant! Such a homey feel old school little dinner that packs huge falor in their food! Love everything on the menu!!!
This was a great find on a road trip. Delicious food with ample sizes (the horchata comes in a personal pitcher!). We got tacos, enchiladas, and the milanesa and it was all delicious, especially the salsa. Any time I drive across long island, I'd consider dropping in for a good meal.
We used to go to this diner way back when it was Chris' diner. We came to Gabinos shortly after it opened. The service and people were friendly and the breakfast very good. Due to a crazy amount of medical issues we did not venture out for a long time. Visited recently and it was just as clean and the staff just as personable. We ordered breakfast and it was hot, plentiful and cooked to our perfection. Coffee is delicious and the complimentary homemade chips and salsa...
