Decent deli that has been around for years in the neighborhood. Different owners but always the same style deli. Friendly staff. But I wish it was cleaner. The store has looked the same for years and it has this smell I can’t explain. I think a really good cleanup in and around the building would help attract more customers.

I've been addicted to their homemade macaroni salad since the late '90's at the Middle Island store. The Selden store is the same. Don't know how they make it but it's honestly, the best I ever had. I've told them, PLEASE do not change the formula or i'd have to go to Macaroni Salad rehab. lol

I've been a customer for over 15 years always ordering cold cuts and breakfast sandwiches for the whole family the food is always good and my order is always correct and the 1 and only 1 time it wasn't in the over a hundred phone in orders they were very apologetic and corrected it immediately. I would and do recommend Mooney Pond Deli to all my friends.

The staff is always incredibly friendly. But it smells like pure grease when you walk in. The food is okay. But honestly there isn't much options in this area and they are decently priced compared to some of the other delis nearby.
