I finally had the opportunity to order food from Geno's Chrese Steak and Onion adter hearing multiple great reviews and awards. I ended up ordering the 12 hour Reuben, Kids Chicken Tenders, Nachos & Tots, and a Cheese Steak. The food was good with all the items except the Cheese Steak which is what this establishment is known for.

The Cheese Steak was the lunch special item which was ordered with cheese whiz, no peppers, and adding Tomotoes and Mayo. The Chrese Steak was one of the smallest I've ever seen that was saturated with mayo and contained 2 tablespoons of Steak which is a ridiculous small quantity of meat for the sandwich. This meal was for my wife which she couldn't even eat because it tasted like only mayo in the sandwich.

She was super disappointed in a place that had a great reputation for selling amazing Cheese Steak sandwiches. I think we will be trying other establishments for cheese steaks given the high price for such a small sandwich that barely contained any meat.

The other thing I noticed which was embarrassing was when I picked up the order they couldn't complete it at the main cash register. The cashier was running back and forth between the main terminal and the one at the bar trying to complete my order and printing the receipts. I thought this was a smooth running operation but clearly that isn't the case.

Overall, very disappointing from a restaurant that won awards on the food and service being excellent.

The staff wasn't wonderful! The bread was dry very little cheese on our steak sandwiches garlic parmesan fries Great and onions were great.

My family and I love coming to Gino's. The cheeses teams are incredible, generous portion sizes for the price. The staff is incredible, friendly and extremely welcoming.

Stopped here on the way home from an appointment. As a Pennsylvania native my husband has strong opinions about cheese steak sandwiches. We were both impressed by how quick and delicious everything was. It was a perfect lunch date. Even my husband said he would go back. High praise indeed!

Why is the best guac in town at a philly steak shop?! Holy crap. Just had an order of steak guac tacos… after finishing an order of steak guac tacos. I’m sure that was bad for my gut, but my mouth is so freaking happy. It sucks that they only have this once a week.

I'm so glad we chose this place for dinner, it was super fast, very delicious, and affordable! The curly fries were huge, and sooo crispy yet soft on the inside. Everything was fantastic!

Beware they close for an hour between lunch and dinner. Good steak sandwiches. Chicken cheesesteak was not as expected. Not bad but had a different flavor palette than one might expect.
