Yesterday, I had the pleasure of experiencing wonderful Greek food at King David's Restaurant in DeWitt, NY. The cashier at the time, Candace, who is also the manager was quite polite and friendly. As it was my first time there and I was unfamiliar with the menu, I placed an incorrect order. Candace however was able to help with the change and she did so with a smile. She also provided extra sauce for me. The falafel was quite large and very good. They also offer additional seating, indoors, where it was quiet and the sun shining through the glass roof made for a wonderful eating and social experience.

I picked up takeout for dinner and it was excellent. I ordered the chicken Gyro with a side of hummus, and tabouli. I would definitely recommend.

An authentic Mediterranean spot with laid back atmosphere. I got the beef shawarma and subbed tabouli for the Greek salad. It was delicious. I only wish it came with hummus, I should've gotten some on the side. You can order your food and then sit down or take it to go. They offer a large menu and daily specials.

I just paid $13 for a loaded gyro bowl. That use to be literally LOADED! Thanks for the 6 pieces of chicken and a bowl full of rice. I will not be coming back to be ripped off.
Such a great place, the Girls and I meet up here weekly. Menu is fresh and consistent. We also get take out as well because we like the range of menu items, and there's something for everyone. We order for lunch or dinner. Staff always kind, helpful, and professional.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible from the front or back door. There are handicapped parking spots at all of those entrances of the building as well.
This longtime gem of a restaurant that began it's history on Marshall street continues to serve the best Mediterranean food in CNY.

In my opinion, the best Greek food in the area. Discovered at the NY State Fair this past summer at the recommendation of a friend. Was told "you HAVE to get a gyro from King David's if you go to the Fair." So we went, and then hubby was on lookout duty for their sign, only knowing they were "somewhere near the Midway." Well his eagle eye found them from a few hundred feet away and we hurried over to order. We both went with lamb gyros (me BBQ, him regular) and then we just stood there and inhaled our gyros, only stopping briefly a couple times to comment to each other on how much we loved them. After that day, we have since been back to their brick and mortar location for takeout and it was just as good. Have added Greek fries, falafel patties and more gyros to our list and we love it all. If you are a fan of Greek food, do yourself a favor and seek out King David's.
