Dinner last night very good. Taco salad and mixed enchaladas. Yum. The flan was good though I prefer more caramel sauce and a softer custard. Always leave here happy!

I can't comment on the service or the atmosphere since I ordered takeout but the food was excellent and reasonably priced.

First time here (i know shocking). Sat outside, hostess was very friendly. Food was good & fresh. I got Shrimp Taco(3) dinner with black beans & rice. I was shocked they didn’t give you complimentary chips & salsa (that’s a given for me). Prices seem a little higher than what’s given. It didn’t stand out like a real authentic Mexican place. Got a house margarita($10) (no lime) in a little glass. Waiter kept forgetting small things. The outdoor seating was nice. Personally, wouldn’t go back because i think there are some better spots around for the amount spent. Thanks PG

The worst food I have had in years.

Edited to add: I reached out to the restaurant to report the lack of flavor and overcooked meat. The response I received was dismissive and dishonest (eg “our food lacking flavor is a complaint we never get…”).

I was excited to try this restaurant. The outside seating was busy and obviously had their own weight staff for the outside portion. There was only three tables filled on the inside last night. We sat on the inside. I did see that the other tables were getting food and drink. We waited 45 minutes and a waitress never came to our table at all. No drink order absolutely nothing. We finally left when a new couple came in, Sat in a booth near us and someone came and got their drink order right away. It was almost like whoever seated, didn’t assign the table a waitress. And waitress came down and asked if someone was going to take our order. We won’t try again to eat here.

Papa Gallo had been recommended highly to me by two people and I was so excited to try it. Unfortunately, we waited over an hour for our food even though by the time our food arrived the restaurant had significantly emptied (8 pm) and when it did arrive it was cold. My husband and I had both ordered smothered burritos. Our server was excellent and made sure our chip basket did not go empty while we were waiting and the chips, guacamole, and salsa were very good.

Phenomenal. The steak. Tacos were an explosion of flavor, the margaritas were mixed to perfection and absolutely do try the fried ice cream.. it does NOT disappoint. Bravo Papa Gallo!

I’ve had pleasant experiences here and it’s a good restaurant in general. Just wanted to leave this as a warning not to order the birria burrito. It was terribly proportioned and the beef was super dry. Order the inferno or pollo verde instead.

Food was great and the portion size you get for the price is awesome! Service could have been a little bit better and the water was always room temp but overall a great place to eat!

Quite honestly the worst Mexican food I’ve ever been served. Server was not friendly. Only offered a smile and a thank you when we handed a cash payment for our food. The tip reflected the lack of good service, not the poor quality of food. The food- where do I even start? We ordered a fajita wrap, cowboy burrito, and enchilada plate. The rice was cold, dry, and flavorless. The burrito was cold. The beef in the enchiladas could not even be cut with a steak knife. The rojo sauce was oddly sweet and extra salty. When the server offered to-go containers, I remarked that the food was not work taking home. I ate 1/2 of the 3 enchiladas and 1 bite of rice. I asked the server if she had spoken to management about the quality of our food. I was shocked that management could not take the time to visit our table. $75 bill for 3 entrees of extremely subpar food. Be better, do better.

I’ve been a few times, no issues. Tonight, my son order the steak tacos. The steak was so tough he could barely chew it. He hesitated to say anything, but I did. She came back and offered from the manager to remake it. The problem is we waited a good long while to even get waited on, even longer for our drinks. She never came back to check on drinks and finally brought the meal out. It took her awhile to check back, so to remake the dish, with a 10 month in tow was not going to happen. I requested a percentage off his meal, as he could not eat the steak it was that tough and awful. The manager apparently did not want to adjust his portion of the $120 check, so we are done dining there.
