So here is another try to our very local restaurant. I say that because it has been a local favorite of our since we lived to the area, literally within walking distance. Everything has been good up till the last few weeks. It was great to see them FINALLY add some new additions to their menu, and the first time I tried the Barria tacos.......AMAZING!!! Which as suggested by the ONLY GOOD waitress they have Katie! Tried there the following week.....service was so bad we did not order dinner, just had drinks and left.....but Katie stopped by to apologize and invite us back. So here we are this week.......asked for Katie and she was not serving tonight.....ok let's try anyway. Service was even WORSE than the week before, literally saw our waitress just leaning and talking to other staff. I ordered the barria tacos again, no flavor, not cooked the same way, wife ordered a taco bowl and asked for no rice.....and there as rice. This unfortunately will be the last time we visit even though it's walking distance. The service and inconsistency has made this place the worst.

One of the closest local places for authenticity. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is exceptional. A must try if you haven't and a must return if you have.

We didn't see our waitress after she brought out the food for at least 45 minutes so my friend just ate what was brought. The rice wasn't cooked all the way through. Beans had no flavor whatsoever. None of the food had good flavor.

We had large group so in back so can not review atmosphere very well.Dietary restrictions: Had several GF options and although I do prefer at times did not choose. My niece did choose GF option and enjoyed it but do not remember what she ordered. Kids had chicken tenders and fries and were very happy.
Picked up food on 1/13 but not going here again. Will drive to East Syracuse next time. Ordered to go as last time we ate in, waited for 25-30 minutes after ordering. We are close to this place so its convenient however even with our pick up on Saturday night, the food was lukewarm at best. This is consistent with prior times (not sure why we think it would change so shame on us). Saturday night's order was ready 15-20 minutes after the time suggested. Was told they were out of rice and more was cooking. Then, rice didn't even come with one of the dinners (as this was one side). My son's tacos (kids chicken) didn't look like chicken, almost like cream corn. He ate one and was done.

We've gone to this restaurant several years before & it was good. It was absolutely horrible this visit. In full transparency we came in at 8 & they closed at 8:30, but still. There were 3 in our party. One meal was good. The other 2 were totally disgusting. My daughter had he birra taco. It was burnt black, but oddly all wet. She had black beans that were in a solid mass in the bowl. I had chicken enchiladas. They, along with the rise were good but completely cold. My black beans were the only hot item on my plate. We could have tried to make the best, even with all that, but a waitress was aggressively and loudly cleaning 4 tables around us, flipping them over and sweeping up within 2 feet of our table. It was distracting, loud and obnoxious. Needless to say, we won't be back for a long time, if ever.

Horrible food! Food was cold and had no flavor. Waitress messed up and entered the wrong order and the manager yelled at us?! The waitress did apologize but after she had messed up our order twice, I was done accepting apologizes. The food is overpriced and this is not authentic Mexican food. Save yourself the money and go to a local mom and pop restaurant.

Huge portions. The margaritas are typical restaurant margaritas. High on sugar. But they do tend to be fairly tasty. Service is great!

Food was phenomenal our waitress was very lackadaisical and didn't really tend to us much or any of her other tables. Great place for dinner. We try to go here every other month because we both love the food. The queso is amazing. My only complaint is after ordering our apps, we have hardly any time to enjoy them because our main course has already come out! The food is delicious and anything can be substituted if you don't like something.Overall, 4.5 out of 5. The few times it was just my wife and I, we have been sat at a smaller table, and with apps and main course on the table, things do get a bit cramped.

Stopped in for dinner and a drink. Was seated pretty quickly. Nice young waitress named Katelyn took care of us. Chips were crispy and pico was fresh. Had the cowboy burrito and wife had the pescado burrito. Great service and ambiance. Everything was pretty perfect. Will definitely be making this a regular stop.
